The fragrance contains neroli and grapefruit oils, making it refreshing and aromatic. It's similar to the Lush conditioner Happy Happy Joy Joy (below, it seems you were confused about the violet fragrance, as Daddy-O has the violet scent and there is a separate similar hair spray).
The natural hold means that after using a curling iron, if you scrunch the waves, they seem to last longer. It's less than regular sprays or fixatives, but it doesn't have an artificial, stiff hold, and the fragrance is pleasant, so I use this.
