  Pros

  I've been using this product for over 5 years exclusively. It's not too sticky and while the hold isn't super strong, I can always cover that with a setting spray. For smoothing hair, creating basic styles, and adding texture, it's absolutely perfect.

  Cons

  The hold could be a bit better. If you're choosing it for the scent, keep in mind that the fragrance doesn't last very long.

  Tip

  Nevertheless, it's a vegan-friendly product and a fantastic choice for starting your day with a refreshing, fragrant boost.

  Pros

  It absorbs well and has a pleasant, natural scent. While it doesn't have the strong hold of a hard wax, it sets hair nicely unless it's very short. The best part is that with long-term use, you can feel your hair texture improving. It's my favorite product from Lush.

  Cons

  The hold doesn't last as long as wax, which is a bit disappointing. If you apply too much, it can make your hair look wet and slightly greasy, so you need to be careful with the amount you use.

  Tip

  I find it works best to use this for initial styling, and then after a few hours when the hold starts to loosen, just a quick spritz of hairspray helps maintain the style.

  Pros

  My husband uses this and says unlike other waxes, it washes out gently without causing hair loss. He switched to it after trying it once and is now on his 7th bottle.

  Cons

  For men's use, it works fine with short hair, but as it grows longer, it tends to lose some hold. The setting power isn't particularly strong.

  Tip

  I have medium-length wavy hair. Before drying, I apply a small amount, slightly dampened, by scrunching it through my hair. This helps distribute it thinly without clumping, while shaping the style.

  Pros

  I really loved the long-lasting fragrance. When applying, it spreads smoothly and evenly (as soft as an oil or a hydrating emulsion), and after a while, it sets to a matte finish without any stickiness, which I found very satisfying. My hair is extremely voluminous and curly, tending to poof up. While this product doesn't provide an extremely strong hold, it does a pretty good job of keeping my hair in place. For this level of styling power, it also cleanses well!

  Cons

  If you're not a fan of fragrances, you might dislike how long the scent lingers. The deal-breaker for me is that there seems to be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin. Every time I use this product, I end up with itching and blemishes.

  Tip

  To use, take a small amount and rub it thinly between your palms. Then, gently run your hands through your hair, following its natural direction. Next, take a bit more product and work it into small sections of hair to create definition. Finish off with a light mist of hairspray for that final touch.

  Pros

  First off, the scent is absolutely delightful. The hold and staying power are excellent. Most importantly, its cleansing effectiveness is outstanding. After application, there's hardly any stickiness, and it washes out completely with just one shampoo. Truly a top-notch hair wax.

  Cons

  There's not much to criticize about this product. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that depending on when it's produced, the consistency can vary slightly - sometimes it's a bit runnier, other times more matte. This is probably characteristic of handmade cosmetics.

  Tip

  For an all-day fresh mint fragrance experience, try using it together with the Dirty Body Spray.
