  Pros

  I fell in love with Lush's Rock Star and bought this product while searching for another item with a bubblegum scent. The fragrance is nice, and since it comes in a generous size, you can use it for an incredibly long time.

  Cons

  Although this product is meant for lip exfoliation, it doesn't remove dead skin cells at all. I also question why they had to make it such a fluorescent pink color. I'm worried it might get into my mouth while I'm rubbing it on my lips.

  Tip

  Applying it directly to dry lips can be irritating and may cause abrasions. It's best to moisten your lips with lukewarm water before using this product.

  Pros

  The generous amount is great, and it's even edible. After use, it moisturizes well, effectively removes dead skin cells, and leaves skin feeling hydrated.

  Cons

  Rubbing too hard can cause bleeding. There are many products you can just apply, so it's frustrating to have to deal with this messy exfoliation process. It's not something I reach for when I'm feeling lazy. Also, consuming too much can cause diarrhea.

  Pros

  I use this once or twice a week, and even though I've had it for a while, there's still so much left - it seems to last forever! I was a bit concerned about the short shelf life, but I'm still using it past the expiration date without any issues. Sometimes my lips react like they're having an allergic reaction and get all chapped, but this product doesn't make it worse. (I avoid using it during those times, though.) After applying, I gently rinse with water, and there's still a bit of oil left, keeping my lips moisturized. If I follow up with lip balm and color, there's no flaky skin in sight. (I really don't understand why others say it doesn't work - what are they comparing it to?) Planning to repurchase in a different scent.

  The fragrance is really... something else. Also, if it sits for a while, it tends to clump up. When applying to your lips, it crumbles and falls off, so you need to tilt your head down a bit while using it.

  The fragrance is absolutely delightful and the color is gorgeous. The name is quite unique, and it comes in a generous size.

  Cons

  Artificial fragrances and dyes? So much for being natural. They said the scrub residue on top is sugar and can be eaten, but there's no way I'm putting that in my mouth. What a bunch of scammers!

  1. The scent is overwhelming. It's beyond sweet, bordering on cloying. Even after washing it off, the smell lingers for a long time. It's not to my taste. 2. I'm not sure about its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells. Maybe I'm not using it correctly... Even though I'm a Lush enthusiast, this product is sitting unused. 3. It's expensive
