It gives a natural glow without feeling too sticky.
ConsI had no idea about the ingredients, oh my. I shouldn't use it too often. The tropical scent, which is supposed to be a selling point, turns out to be a major drawback. It only smells tropical for a brief moment when you first spray it, then once that fades, you're left with the original nauseating smell. It makes me a bit self-conscious when meeting my boyfriend right after applying it. I suppose they had to formulate it this way for the scent... sigh.

Even though it was a hot and humid day with rain, my makeup didn't break down until I got home in the evening. Unlike my usual experience of getting oily and having my makeup slide off, this kept my foundation in place with a natural glow. Personally, my previous favorite setting spray was from MAC. While MAC's product is also very satisfying, its spray nozzle is terrible, and you need to be careful with the amount - if you spray too much, it gives an excessive shine. That's when I discovered Urban Decay. First off, the spray comes out very evenly, like a fine mist. And it's absolutely top-notch for improving foundation longevity. These two points alone make it an excellent setting spray in my opinion.
ConsI've heard some people say the original scent isn't great, but the Summer edition doesn't have a bothersome smell. In fact, the scent dissipates so quickly that you barely notice if it's strange or not. However, one downside is that while the spray is good, you need to apply it quite close (within 15cm), otherwise a lot of product falls downward. It tends to get on necklaces, which is a bit annoying, so I've started removing my accessories before spraying. Also, since I don't spray it directly on my eyes, it seems like using a separate eye primer might be better for eye makeup.
TipFor a major boost in foundation staying power, try this: Apply a thin layer of moisturizer, spray a light mist of this setting spray and let it dry, then apply your foundation, and finish with another spritz!
