It's gentle with minimal irritation and removes easily. I've been using it for over 5 years. While I'm satisfied overall, if I had to nitpick, the texture feels slightly slippery when applied. - hj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 19, 2022
It's great at removing makeup and effectively manages dead skin cells and whiteheads There's nothing particularly bad to mention... I think I've used about 10 bottles so far and I'll likely continue using it I recommend using this not only for makeup cleansing but also occasionally on bare skin to manage blackheads and dead skin cells - eh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2021
Great cleansing effectiveness and a lovely scent. It's like a fragrance you'd expect from purple ice cream? The texture is more watery compared to other cleansing oils, but it comes in a generous amount and has excellent cleansing power, making it a worthwhile product. While it has good cleansing effectiveness, it doesn't seem to be particularly strong against excess sebum. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2021
I bought it because it's free of harmful ingredients. Even though I can't see the difference, it gives me peace of mind. However, it feels like it doesn't cleanse thoroughly, so I need to pay extra attention to double cleansing. - qk********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2020
It's a smooth, non-greasy oil that effectively removes makeup while keeping the skin hydrated. At first, it seemed fine, but after dealing with perioral dermatitis, even this became too irritating. I've switched to a mild acidic soap instead. - sw********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 16, 2019
It's not easy to remove, but it doesn't cause irritation. This one manages to remove makeup even when I layer oil before emulsifying. Because it's thin, it doesn't turn as white during emulsification, so I just wet it a little, emulsify, roll it around, and wipe it off. It even removes eye makeup. I have oily skin and had reactions to other cleansing oils in the past, so I used to do a second cleanse with foam. But trusting that a second cleanser wasn't necessary, and believing that the slippery ingredients were actually protecting my skin barrier, I stopped the second cleanse. Lo and behold, my skin that was suffering from recurring atopic dermatitis immediately improved! Maybe my trusted second cleanser wasn't suitable, or perhaps this cleansing oil's ingredients just work for me. Either way, I'm very satisfied. Even without a second cleanse, I don't get any blemishes. However! It doesn't completely remove makeup. There's some residue left. I might look into ways to cleanse more thoroughly. I'd recommend a second foam cleanse. I've tried three cleansing oils from Sidmool and one from Witch's Pouch, but if I continue to have no issues, I'll stick with this brightening cleanser. It's runny and drips, so you need to keep pumping and applying repeatedly. It doesn't remove makeup completely. I'll look into ways to cleanse more thoroughly. - ya*******Dry SkinJan 7, 2019
The only positive thing I can say is that the ingredients are clean. We just weren't meant to be. It's called a cleansing oil, but there's no oil in sight...! Yet it pretends to be one. This isn't necessarily bad, but when you try to emulsify it with water after use, it doesn't emulsify properly. Even after wiping with a sponge, the sponge doesn't come clean. This product's unique slippery feeling just lingers... It doesn't seem to do anything for blemishes either. The pump keeps splattering everywhere when I use it. Sigh... I'd rather use the apricot seed or calendula versions from the same brand - their cleansing effectiveness is much more reliable. The best tip would be not to use it, but since I've already bought it, I can't just throw it away. I'm mixing it with other cleansing oils to use it up... I can't wait to finish it and get rid of it. What a waste! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2018
Sidmool Brightening Cleansing Oil Wow! I'm so satisfied with its skin-friendly ingredients and affordable price. Compared to other cleansing oils, this one has a much thinner consistency. After cleansing, it doesn't leave a slippery feeling, just a slight moisturizing effect, and feels quite clean. I think it would work well for oily or combination skin types too. It's less irritating and has good cleansing effectiveness. It easily removes sunscreen, lip products, and even eyeliner and mascara. I'm really happy with how well it gently removes even heavy makeup. However, as I have dry skin, I thought a slightly thicker consistency might work better for me than this thin type. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 23, 2018
It was gentle and low-irritation, which worked well for my sensitive skin It left a noticeable film on my skin that felt slippery, so I had to use cleansing foam twice after each application - in******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2018
I absolutely love this! Not only is the cleansing effectiveness great, but the smooth feeling after washing is amazing. I highly, highly recommend this for those with dry skin. It's not irritating at all and feels so good. After cleansing, it doesn't feel like the moisture has evaporated... It's truly wonderful. It leaves your skin feeling soft, but not like it hasn't been cleaned. The ingredients are gentle too, so I strongly recommend this for those with dry and super sensitive skin. It's a bit pricey... And it's quite tricky to figure out how to pack it for travel. Besides that, it's really great!
