Since I usually only go to the library and rarely wear makeup (once or twice a month), my skin has calmed down lately. But I thought I might as well use something good for my face, so I started using the Sidmool BB cream that I love. I have a cool undertone and use shade 21, so I bought both 21 and 20. I was worried because it has a strong yellow base, but mixing them in a 4:6 ratio (more of shade 20) matched my skin tone perfectly. Next time, I might try the cool-toned shade 23. By the way, the Sidmool Peptide BB cream's shade numbers don't seem to correlate much with brightness. Here are some advantages: 1. Skin-friendly ingredients The ingredients are really gentle, so it doesn't feel like you're wearing makeup. It's lightweight, and the color isn't stark white, so I highly recommend it for those seeking a natural look. Once, due to circumstances, I had to sleep with it on (without powder or primer, of course), and the next day I didn't have any blemishes or excess oil production. 2. Decent coverage While I don't have many skin issues, it provides some coverage for occasional pimples and scars. However, if you want perfect skin, you'll need to use a concealer. 3. Natural-looking color At first, when I swatched it on my hand, shade 20 looked extremely pink-based and white, while 21 was very yellow. But when I mixed them and applied them to my face, it gave a bright yet natural look without making my face look disconnected from my body. 📌Recommended for: Those concerned about ingredients, people with acne-prone skin (not for full coverage), those who prefer light makeup, and those with oily skin.
ConsNothing can be 100% perfect, so here are some downsides: 1. Shade 20 is smaller I end up using more of shade 20 (for highlighting and mixing), but since it's smaller, I have to buy it separately. I wish they'd make a larger size! 2. It can be drying I have combination skin, and after 2-3 hours of wear, my skin feels very dry. The areas around my nose and mouth start to crack, while my T-zone gets oily. It's a bit of a struggle. 3. Poor pore coverage Among all the BB creams I've tried, this one seems to be the worst at covering pores. If you have noticeable pores, you might have to accept this drawback.
TipWarm undertone: Shade 21 Cool undertone: Shade 23 Regardless of your undertone, always buy shade 20 to mix For dry skin: Mix with facial oil For oily skin: Use the Sidmool powder or any setting powder - make sure to set it!

ConsFor dry skin, if you don't apply a solid base, it might look patchy and feel dry. The absorption isn't great either. Maybe because my skin is on the drier side, it seems to emphasize pores quite a bit. So on days when I want to look really polished, using this product alone isn't enough. Honestly, if you have resilient skin that can handle any product, you probably don't need this one.
TipUsing shade 21 alone can make you look like you have jaundice, so you might need to mix it with a lighter shade. That's why I used to mix it with other colors, but lately I've been using just shade 20. When applied to the face, it doesn't actually make you look dramatically brighter than expected.

I was a BB cream nomad until I found this product and settled down. The amount is quite generous, so it lasts longer than expected. I'm currently on my second bottle. As someone with combination dehydrated and acne-prone skin, I always ended up with a pimple or two after using any base product. I was looking for something with good ingredients, hydrating to minimize flakiness, but still with good coverage. I've tried all the internet-famous products, but if they didn't cause breakouts, they'd be too dry and emphasize dead skin cells. If they were hydrating, the coverage would be lacking. I was in a total dilemma. I decided to give up on coverage and go for a product with good ingredients, which led me to buy this. Wow, it has surprisingly good coverage while being hydrating, and it doesn't cause blemishes! Plus, unlike most BB creams that have a grayish tint, this has a yellow base like a foundation, so it doesn't look ashy. I'll honestly use this forever. Summary: Coverage: Medium-high Hydration: Medium-high when applied Color: Naturally brightening without looking gray Blemishes: None!! This is truly the most important part
ConsThe pore coverage is lacking, so I deducted one star out of five... The Inner Glow isn't strong enough to cover pores, so if you want to cover them, you might need to buy a separate primer. The staying power is average. And I'm not sure if it's just me, but while it feels hydrating when applied, it seems to get a bit dry later on. Oh! And the biggest downside is that it doesn't have sun protection. You'll need to buy a separate sunscreen.
TipIf you're concerned about pores, make sure to use this with a primer!

I sometimes hear that I have pale skin, but when I apply this, it feels more natural than just a tone-up effect. People around me say it matches my complexion better. I was worried because many reviews mentioned lack of coverage, but I actually find it quite good. I used to use Shiseido's foundation before, but this has much better coverage. I even bought Sidmool concealer just in case, but I don't think I'll need it. There's no darkening, and even though I don't touch up during the day, it lasts well until dinner time.
ConsIt's really drying. I have dry skin with no oil or moisture, and this is extremely drying. Even if I keep spraying mist after application, it stays dry. Some people say it becomes naturally dewy, but maybe because I lack natural oils, it just gets drier. I apply a thorough skincare routine and plenty of oil before putting on this BB cream in the morning, but it's still dry... It's so drying all day that my skin feels tight. I might need to apply more oil. With other base products, I don't feel immediate dryness when applying with a puff, but with this one, I feel the dryness even while patting it on. That's why I'm deducting one star. But apart from the dryness, the ingredients are great and I'm satisfied with other aspects, so I'll keep using it for now.
TipFor those with very dry skin lacking both oil and moisture, before applying this BB cream, make sure to generously apply toner, ampoule, emulsion, moisturizer, oil, and sunscreen. Always dampen your puff with toner before patting it on, and keep spraying mist throughout the day. Otherwise, it gets too dry. Don't worry, the BB cream stays on well even with lots of mist.

I bought it because of the good ingredients, and it's working well for me. I'm continuing to use it.
ConsThe color isn't as bright as I expected. It's a bit drying, and the coverage is somewhat weak.

ConsThe price is quite steep... over 25,000 won Though the coverage is okay, it's supposed to be matte but for my dry skin, it's just too drying... It's also quite yellow-toned Not recommended for those with #21 skin or who prefer a bright makeup look Might work for those with #23 skin and redness to cover It can mask redness with a yellow tint and give a natural complexion But it might look like you're not wearing makeup at all Doesn't seem suitable for very fair skin or those with overall redness My skin is slightly fairer than #21 with overall redness My neck is also a bit red, so when I apply it to my face, it looks yellower than my neck The difference from my natural skin tone is too noticeable, making it look unnatural And for a daytime product, the lack of sun protection is disappointing
TipIf you want it more matte, try mixing in a drop of face oil. To address the lack of sun protection and adjust the color, mix it with a moisturizing sunscreen that has a slight white cast

I prefer a natural complexion, and this is perfect for that. Even in the afternoon, it doesn't look dull, which is really impressive!
ConsWhen I first got it, I really didn't like it. I have dry skin, and it felt a bit too drying for me.
TipFor those with dry skin, try applying a light layer of facial oil as part of your skincare routine before using this. Even after hours, it doesn't feel dry, and although the BB cream isn't super moisturizing over the oil, it gives a nice, balanced glow. This BB cream really shines when you nail your skincare base. As time passes, your skin looks even better! I plan to repurchase when I run out.

First off, the ingredients are truly exceptional! I think it's unbeatable in that aspect! When I was struggling with blemishes and desperately looking for a product with good ingredients, this one helped prevent flare-ups during my worst breakouts. It was just enough to keep things from getting worse! Of course, it's unrealistic to expect a BB cream to completely cure acne. But hey, at least it doesn't make things worse!
ConsThe color is not great, probably because they focused so much on the ingredients. It's as if when creating this BB cream, they poured in all the good stuff for the formula, and then when it came to the color, they thought, 'Well, it's for acne-prone skin, so let's add more yellow!' and dumped in a ton of yellow pigment. Yes, it's quite yellow. But don't worry, you won't look like a character from The Simpsons. If you apply the right amount, it's okay. However, if you pile it on trying to cover all your blemishes, you'll end up looking really yellow. Also, it feels a bit dry, or should I say it doesn't sit well on the skin? Anyway, as time passes and it starts to break down, the dryness becomes very noticeable.
TipWhen it starts to look dry and patchy after a while, use blotting paper to remove excess oil and spritz on some face mist. As for the rating, I wish I could give it 2.5 stars! Is that possible? Despite its flaws, I did like this product. It's not bad at all! To be honest, when I first used it, I was really excited about it. It's just that I found my holy grail product after this, so my affection for it cooled down. Don't dislike this product because of that! It's definitely a lifesaver when your acne is really bad and you have to go out but don't want to use regular makeup that might make it worse. It won't make your breakouts more severe (but it won't cure them either!).

When I first applied it, it seemed to absorb into my face nicely.
ConsBut as time passed, around lunchtime? Oh no! The areas around my nose, mouth, and right cheek started to lift terribly. What's going on? Did I do something wrong? I usually apply my skincare in this order: toner, then Tony Moly Black Tea Serum, Sidmool Ultra Emulsion, and sunscreen. I really want to know why it's lifting. If anyone has any tips, I'd be so grateful! I'm at a loss for which BB cream to use now. Cushions start lifting after a while, and foundations do the same. It's so frustrating!

The ingredients are good, so there wasn't really any issue. However, the dryness was quite...
ConsIt's extremely drying! My skin suddenly became so dry, and I was really worried. Turns out this was the problem... I didn't suspect it because it contains mega peptides and whatnot, but even I, who've never felt dryness before, felt dry using this. Those with dry skin should definitely avoid it.
