While you could use these exfoliating pads to remove makeup, they're really best for tackling dead skin cells and cleaning out pores when you're bare-faced. These pads work like a gentle scrub, and you can actually see the dead skin coming off! But be careful not to rub too hard, or you might end up with a burning sensation on your face. I have combination dehydrated skin that leans slightly dry, and I had no issues using these. They were fine even with my occasional blemishes. I snagged these on a buy-one-get-one deal at Lala*, and they weren't too pricey. I'd say they're pretty good value for money. I didn't have any problems using the product. However, it would be great if they included some usage precautions. You wouldn't want someone to accidentally irritate their skin by rubbing too hard!
