Mixing it with a hydrating cream makes it somewhat better, but honestly, you're better off buying a different product.

First off, it pills terribly... It doesn't absorb into the skin at all. I'm still using this product, but just 30 minutes after application, the areas around my eyes and between my brows turn white and flaky, making me look like someone who doesn't know how to apply sunscreen properly. Even though I prep my skin with serum and toner to make it plump and receptive, this brightening moisturizer just won't cooperate.

As expected from a brightening moisturizer, it definitely evens out the skin tone nicely. Plus, you get a generous amount of product.
