The coverage is really impressive. The ingredients are good and it's great for blemish-prone skin. It's quite matte, which can make dead skin cells more noticeable. The shade range is a bit tricky - 10 is too light and 11 is too dark for me. I had to mix them to get a decent match. - is*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2022
Due to my super sensitive skin, I had only been using a gentle BB cream I found on Hwahae. Most gentle foundations or BB creams I tried had poor coverage. However, this one provides excellent coverage without causing any blemishes, which is why I've been using it exclusively for over 6 years now. Unfortunately, this foundation isn't officially available in our country, so I have to purchase it from overseas... Also, the previous version was quite thick, so I used to mix it with a moisturizer. However, the newly redesigned version with the black flat cap has become a bit runnier. Just something to keep in mind! - ki******Combination SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2022
The coverage is excellent, it's fragrance-free, and the color gives a healthy look. As we all know, La Roche-Posay is a French pharmaceutical brand, and true to form, the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend giving it a try. It's a bit disappointing that the bottle is plastic rather than glass. Try applying it with a damp sponge for best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2021
This is great for oily or combination skin types! It spreads thinly and evenly, giving a sheer finish. The staying power is impressive too. I've always had trouble with BB creams and foundations because my skin is quite oily - they'd cause blemishes and look cakey. But this product is a perfect match for me. I highly recommend it to those with oily or combination skin! They call it a holy grail foundation... and I can't find any faults with it for my skin type! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2021
It has great coverage and is gentle on the skin. I've been using it happily for nearly four years now. The color isn't particularly pretty. It doesn't suit cool skin tones, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2021
I switched from cushion foundation to this on my dermatologist's recommendation. The ingredients are pretty good, and I don't get any blemishes even with long-wearing makeup. It's a shame the ingredients were better before the reformulation. The absorption isn't great, so I mix it with essence. The shade is a bit on the darker side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2021
The best feature of this product is its excellent coverage The yellowish tone might make it challenging for those with cool undertones to use - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2020
No harmful ingredients. Since I started wearing masks, even after just two consecutive days of makeup, I'd get blemishes near my nose, below or above my lips. With no harmful ingredients, this foundation is great and the price is excellent. My skin doesn't usually break out unless something's wrong, so I just need something that gives decent coverage, and this is perfect. It doesn't look like I'm not wearing makeup, you can tell I have it on, but my skin still looks good. The smooth skin feeling is amazing. I'm completely satisfied! There's no strong scent, and I feel at ease while using it. Maybe because it's matte, it feels slightly thick? It's not noticeable, but it doesn't quite give that 'good skin' look - you can tell I'm wearing makeup. I tried applying it with a brush, but using a puff seems to work better. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 18, 2020
As someone with atopic dermatitis, I've never found a foundation as gentle on my skin as this one. I highly recommend it to those with sensitive skin who need to wear makeup. The staying power isn't great, as it tends to fade by evening. You'll need to touch up throughout the day. - yi*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2020
1. Ingredients As someone with acne-prone, sensitive skin prone to redness (basically the worst combination possible), I've found a gem! While my previous Hanyul foundation had good coverage, it required double cleansing. I've been using this La Roche-Posay foundation for almost a year now after searching for something that could be removed in one go! First off, it's dermatologist-recommended and has relatively good ingredients for a foundation. Thanks to this, I can cleanse just once using the matching foam cleanser from the same line. 2. Generous amount A little goes a long way - you don't need to squeeze out much to cover your entire face. 3. Decent coverage I was worried the coverage might be poor due to the gentle ingredients, but it actually covers quite well! 1. Color The shade range seems to have changed after the product renewal. The #10 used to be closer to ivory, but now it appears darker. It makes my skin look a bit dull. I have fair skin, and this makes me look slightly darker than I am. Still, considering the good ingredients, no need for double cleansing, and the fact that it doesn't cause blemishes, I continue using it. 2. Price While it's not exactly cheap, it's comparable to other brand foundations, so I wouldn't consider the price a major drawback. If you're struggling with acne-prone, sensitive skin, this foundation is definitely worth trying! I'd especially recommend it if you don't have very fair skin!
