The stick format makes it convenient to use and easy to carry around It leaves a white cast and becomes drier over time. Not recommended for dry skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 27, 2021
• The ingredients are excellent! • It's so easy to apply! You can even rub it on the back of your hands! • The fragrance is subtle and pleasant • It brightens your complexion when applied! There wasn't anything particularly bad, but it's a bit matte! There's some white cast, but it's not too noticeable! However, it does make your skin look a bit unnaturally pale - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2020
This is revolutionary! As someone who never applies sunscreen due to skin sensitivity, I now find myself using this sun stick all day long. It's incredibly good. The more I apply, my skin improves dramatically, becoming brighter. It's absolutely fantastic! There's honestly nothing bad to say. If I had to nitpick, it might be the typical white cast from mineral sunscreens, but even that looks beautiful on the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJul 22, 2020
Unlike other products, I loved how this made my skin feel soft and powdery. Even though I have combination skin, it didn't feel greasy or dry. However, if you have oily skin, I'd definitely recommend using a powder or another base product with this. What's great is that it has a subtle purple tint that helps cover dark circles. While the white cast could be seen as a brightening effect, it's actually too intense. Make sure to apply it to your neck as well! If you only apply it to your face, it looks like your face is floating. It's a makeup base! A light purple sun stick that's perfect for concealing dark circles! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2020
Skin type: Extremely oily + combination dehydrated skin + super sensitive skin + large pores + mild acne Had a bad reaction to a Secret Mineral something-or-other toner before I got this sunstick by chance from my aunt. The design and size are decent, which I liked. Repurchase rate: 1/10 Almost zero. Unless my aunt gives me another one, but I still have 2 more at home (when will I ever use them all?). I won't buy it with my own money. Ingredients: Hey... for a sunstick, why are your ingredients so good? Finish: As someone with oily skin, I really hate sticky finishes. This product has a nice matte finish, which I appreciated. Scent: I noticed many people dislike the scent (my sister said she never wants to use it again). I thought it was fine. It's like a faint lemon scent, similar to what you might imagine from a mosquito repellent. Brightening effect: The color is a very light purple, so it seems to brighten the complexion by about half a shade. White cast: This is why I won't repurchase. I've never heard anyone say their face looks like it's floating after applying sunscreen until I used this sunstick. Transfer: After application, if you lightly touch your face, you can experience a brightening effect on your hand (though it absorbs well). Due to the severe white cast, make sure to blend it well with your hands after applying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2020
It's like applying a white camouflage cream over mineral sunscreen. The white cast is so intense that it feels like you're wearing a mask for sun protection. Beyond that, I struggle to find any other advantages. As mentioned above, the white cast is so severe that even fair-skinned individuals would notice it. The transfer is really... it rubs off even more than BB cream. Being a mineral sunscreen, it's also difficult to wash off. The absorption is poor, leaving white patches that pill up in certain areas. It's terrible for those with dry skin, and I'm not sure about oily skin types. Use this when you need to be outdoors for a long time, have no hands free, or when there's no one around to help. It's so white, you might be mistaken for a tourist asking for directions in English! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2019
Absolutely fantastic! No greasiness or stickiness at all. I have sensitive skin that usually breaks out with just sunscreen, but this didn't cause any blemishes. The best part is how it leaves my skin feeling powder-soft. There's a white cast... You can't just quickly apply it with the stick and be done. You need to use your hands to blend out any white patches. Still, this minor drawback is easy to overlook given its other benefits. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 23, 2019
I found this product while searching for something less sticky for summer, as I hate when sunscreen gets all tacky and my hair sticks to it when I sweat. This one leaves such a soft, powdery finish. It applies smoothly and is convenient to carry around. While the volume isn't huge, the price is affordable, making it great value for money. There's a bit of a white cast. Although the finish is powdery, it can look quite shiny right after application. This lessens over time though, so it's not a major drawback.
