True to Etude's style, the color is absolutely gorgeous. While it's a cool tone on Etude's official site, there's a subtle hint of warmth to it. Fundamentally, it's a cool color, but when applied, it looks natural with a beautiful reddish tint. I was surprised by how moisturizing and velvety it felt when applied. It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much, and instead seems to smooth them out. Even after some time, when you touch up, it doesn't dry out or make flakiness more noticeable. It comes off cleanly when removed. It doesn't end up as just a pink stain. The color payoff isn't too strong, but it's not just a pink tint either. So even as it fades, the original color seems to maintain.
ConsUsing this product reminds me of Clio's Mad Matte Tint. I like Clio products, so let's compare: Firstly, longevity. This product is already a velvet tint, but the color payoff is weak, so it doesn't last very long. The 'tattoo' in the name is quite disappointing in terms of staying power. Clio has strong color payoff, so it lasts longer. However, the shade I used had a tendency to turn pink, which some people might not like - in that case, Etude might be better. Adhesion: Personally, I think Clio is better in this aspect. With Clio, as time passes, it adheres well without transfer or feeling of residue. With Etude, there's still a slight transfer even after some time. In short, the Etude product feels lacking in color payoff, longevity, and adhesion.
TipDespite my criticism, if you're looking for a comfortable daily velvet tint, I'd recommend this. Just keep in mind the points I mentioned. The third photo below shows how it looks after wiping once with a regular wet wipe. When removed with cleansing water, it comes off completely.
