There are no matte shades at all. The palette consists entirely of satin, shimmer, and glitter finishes, which limits its everyday wearability.

Great color payoff with a wide range of shades. The two rightmost columns are especially useful for pink makeup looks.

Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a brush, so you'll have to apply it with your fingers or purchase one separately.

The color range is lovely, and I love that it's a palette! No need to search for individual shades, which is so convenient.

For best results and to minimize fallout, apply by gently pressing and patting the product onto your lids!

• Skin irritation: This product may cause blemishes (it contains ingredients commonly found in many products, but some can be harmful to the skin).
• Creasing on double eyelids: As I naturally have monolids, I didn't notice much, but as my eyelids started developing a slight crease that eventually became more pronounced, I noticed the product settling into the crease.

• Each shade is absolutely stunning: They were truly more beautiful than I expected.
• Minimal fallout: Although there's a tiny bit of powder fallout, it's really not much at all.
• Wide variety of colors: I love that there are so many shades to experiment with. Even similar colors create different looks, so I feel I've really gotten great use out of it.
• Little to no clumping: I was pleased that it didn't clump up much at all.

There are many shades with subtle shimmer mixed into matte finishes. While the colors in the pan look beautiful, the actual pigmentation on the skin is disappointingly sheer.

The color selection is perfect for everyday use. Personally, I find myself reaching for this palette quite often. It's my top recommendation among Holika's 12-pan palettes.

The satin finish and subtle shimmer make any makeup look glamorous, which isn't always what I'm going for... sigh.

The light shade is perfect for fair skin tones. If it didn't have shimmer, I could see myself using it daily.

When you remove the film, it seems like a lot of eyeshadow powder might stick to the mirror, so I always put the film back. It's a bit inconvenient to keep taking it on and off every time.

Why didn't anyone mention that the shimmer pearls are gold? Almost all shades except for about two mattes have shimmer. If you use a brush, the glitter falls off, leaving your entire face sparkling. The color payoff isn't particularly strong when applied with a brush.

This is the first eyeshadow I've tried with no excess fallout! As someone with slightly cool undertones, I was worried it might be too warm, but the colors aren't strictly warm or cool - they're just absolutely gorgeous! The shades are so beautiful, I'm in awe.
