The mesh sifter seems to make the powder even finer.
ConsUsing too much can actually accentuate skin texture and may lead to a feeling of dryness.

The quantity is generous... but I'm not sure what else to say.
ConsI don't understand why the reviews are so positive. I went to buy oil-control powder and bought this based on a recommendation, but it's really disappointing. I have very oily skin, but this makes my skin feel like a desert. It's extremely difficult to control the amount, and when I try to adjust it, the powder flies everywhere. When applied, it makes my skin look pale and feels like it's just sitting on top. I finished my base makeup, applied this, and... it ruined everything! The way it emphasizes dead skin cells is incredible... It might work well for someone with good skin and a fair complexion.

It gives my skin a nice matte finish. Even though I have super sensitive skin, it doesn't leave any residue!
ConsStrangely, when I apply this, it seems to emphasize the pores and blackheads around my nose and T-zone.

ConsI'm not quite sure how to use this properly. I just applied sunscreen, foundation, and then lightly brushed this on, but it didn't do much for texture issues and really emphasized my pores and whiteheads.

I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but I'll round up to 5. The powder is incredibly fine and really excels at oil control. There's some powder fallout, but that's typical for loose powders and not overly bothersome. It's manageable and doesn't interfere with application. Apply a light layer all over, then pat on extra around the mouth and philtrum. Even with my oily skin, this helps me cope with both face masks and summer heat. The sebum control is so effective that even those with extremely oily skin should be satisfied. It noticeably reduces sweat buildup in the philtrum area, even when wearing a mask and talking, which is perfect for someone like me who hates skin discomfort. True to its 'Pore Blur' name, it does have a pore-blurring effect, though it won't cover large pores, deep scars, or protruding blackheads. It might look a bit dry immediately after application, but once your natural oils come through, it looks much smoother. The ingredients are simple and suitable for blemish-prone skin, and the price is reasonable for daily use. Unlike many white translucent powders, it doesn't gradually whiten your skin with repeated application, so I can confidently recommend it to men who struggle with excess oil too. It pairs well with Innisfree's Master Powder Brush, which seems to pick up and distribute the powder effectively. The included puff is average but works well for delicate areas like the philtrum where you want a gentler touch than a brush.
ConsThe initial feel is quite dry and can emphasize dead skin cells. While it doesn't cause deep dryness, I probably wouldn't use it without wearing a mask. It might be great for very oily skin types, but for my moderately oily skin, it could be a bit much to use outside of summer or mask-wearing situations. Also, as it absorbs oil and forms a film-like layer on the skin, it can be a bit challenging to remove. A single cleanse with cleansing oil isn't enough for thorough removal. Lastly, as someone with prominent pores, I find the pore-blurring effect a bit underwhelming given the product's name.
TipMake sure to cleanse thoroughly, as the fine particles can really get into your pores. Also, don't fully remove the sticker from the dispenser opening at first. Comparison with Make Up For Ever HD Powder & Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder: Vs. MUFE HD Powder: They have different strengths and target different concerns. If you're mainly focused on oil control, the Pore Blur Powder should suffice. However, if you're particularly concerned about pore texture, wear makeup 3+ times a week, and have a strong desire for a flawless look, go for the Make Up For Ever powder. It's unparalleled in pore and texture coverage in its price range. It virtually erases pores and significantly reduces the appearance of raised texture and sunken scars. If you can't let go of that 'made-up' effect even with minimal makeup, MUFE is the way to go. It's also easier to cleanse off compared to Pore Blur when applied to bare skin. Vs. No Sebum Mineral: Pore Blur is on another level. There's a reason why No Sebum goes on sale every summer while Pore Blur doesn't. No Sebum does little for skin appearance, dries out the skin without providing hydration, and has a noticeably grainier texture that can look cakey compared to Pore Blur.

After applying it to my hair and even when I sweat, it doesn't leave any marks. Even after sweating a lot and drying off, the powdery finish comes back when I reapply!
ConsIf you don't tap the puff evenly on the product lid to remove excess powder, it can apply unevenly. There's more product on the puff than you might expect, so make sure to tap off the excess for a smooth application. While it's essential to pat it into smile lines due to mask-wearing, once you take off the mask and the moisture dries, those lines can become more noticeable. That's why I tend to avoid applying it inside the mask area. Also, contrary to its name, it doesn't seem to create the blurred skin effect. I'm not sure if it's because my skin tone is 24 and it makes my peach fuzz appear lighter, but I think you need to use a good pore-minimizing primer first to really get that blurred effect.

It's definitely less drying and lighter than No Sebum. I'd say it's certainly an upgraded version of No Sebum.
ConsBeing a powder, it can still emphasize dead skin cells if your skincare routine leaves your skin dry. The particles are so fine that it might be difficult to apply with a brush, so I use the included puff. However, the powder clumps in the mesh, leaving white residue on the face if applied directly. You need to pick up a little powder, fold the puff in half, and blend it evenly before applying. Due to the fine particles, there's quite a bit of excess. Unlike No Sebum, you don't see white powder falling visibly. While it contains more product than No Sebum for a similar or slightly higher price, I wish it came in a No Sebum-sized option for better portability.

The puff is definitely softer and the powder particles are finer. It seems to control oil extremely well. The price is also reasonable, making it a good value for money.
ConsThe powder particles are so fine that there's quite a bit of excess when applying. When you first open it and remove the sticker inside, the powder completely puffs up. Also, it's a bit drying, so if you have any dead skin cells, they become more noticeable.

ConsMy skin tends to be red, and unfortunately, this product accentuates the redness when applied.

The particles are fine, it covers pores well, controls oil, and helps makeup last longer. A good powder shouldn't irritate even when applied to bare skin rather than over makeup, and this one fits the bill perfectly! It's so convenient for touch-ups on the go, and I find myself reaching for it often. Definitely repurchasing! It's really useful to have one of these in your makeup bag.
ConsThe compact size makes it a bit tricky to use with a large powder brush. Be careful with the amount you apply - if you overdo it, it can look matte, accentuate dead skin cells, and feel dry. Just something to keep in mind!
TipTry testing it out before committing to regular use. If you apply too much, tap a little onto the back of your hand first, then gently pat it onto your face!
