After trying Dr.G, Sidmool, and Benton, I've finally settled on Benton's peeling gel. Dr.G's peeling gel was a bit irritating for me, and the cap was flimsy. I used Sidmool for a while, but during a Benton sale, I decided to try their peeling gel due to good reviews. First off, it's incredibly gentle! My skin is sensitive, so I only use a peeling gel twice a month. Even when used after cleansing, it doesn't dry out my skin or cause irritation. The price point is also reasonable. Benton often has sales, and I bought mine during a 1+1 promotion for about $7 each, which feels like a good deal. It's free from harmful and allergenic ingredients. As someone with acne-prone and sensitive skin, I always check for harmful ingredients on the Hwahae app, and this product doesn't contain any. Lastly, it's cruelty-free with eco-friendly packaging. I appreciate that it's from a brand that doesn't test on animals, and the packaging uses paper air wrap and eco-friendly box tape.
ConsIf there's one downside, it's that there are no offline stores, so you can only purchase it online.
TipYou can buy it at a great price during Benton's promotional periods!

The first one I tried was a bit harsh and left my skin with some redness. I've used this product about three times now, and it's not irritating at all. I love how it clumps the dead skin cells together, so I don't have to clean the sink afterward. It also doesn't cause any deep dryness. I bought it after seeing a recommendation on YouTube, and I think it would be great for people with oily or super sensitive skin - that's how gentle it is. When I ordered from Hwahae, they kindly included stickers to mark cosmetic opening dates, various samples, and even a guide on how to apply skincare products!
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it. I really recommend everyone to try this product! Update 4.17: I noticed that when I apply makeup after using this, there's a slight flaking of dead skin cells. It seems the exfoliating effect might be a bit less effective than I initially thought. So now I tend to use it twice on my forehead area.
TipIt's crucial to hydrate your skin well after using this! I recommend using a mask, but if you don't have one, you can soak a cotton pad with toner or essence and leave it on your face like a mask. This works great too!

I use this about 2-4 times a week, and despite frequent use, it doesn't stress my skin. It actually provides moisture, leaving a hydrated feeling. Sunscreen is a must after exfoliating! I want to try using it in winter too. - I've now used it in winter as well As expected, the before and after feel is great, with no tightness Recommended for those with dry skin! Have repurchased again!
ConsIt's not extremely powerful, more of a gentle exfoliation. You should be able to use it frequently without stressing your skin.
TipMake sure to roll it on for 3 minutes! Compared to other exfoliators, you can really feel the dead skin cells coming off. Summer - Use up to 3 times a week Winter - Use once a week

I focused on removing blackheads on my nose, whiteheads around my chin, and overall gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells. It seemed to help cleanse without causing significant irritation. The finish was also not tingling for me and felt refreshingly pleasant. I didn't experience any blemishes after use, nor did I feel the characteristic dryness that occurs when the skin is damaged from excessive peeling.
ConsWhile it helped with gentle exfoliation without excessive irritation, I couldn't visibly notice changes in whitehead removal around my chin, which was disappointing. I think I need to use it more consistently to see results!
TipRather than using strong finger pressure as if scrubbing to see quick results, it's better to gently roll over the surface naturally. Regular maintenance this way is less irritating to the skin and likely to produce more positive effects! Afterwards, using a hydrating mask or cream containing aloe or mint ingredients for ample moisturization would be beneficial.

I used this product twice over a two-week period. My skin has been acting up lately with lots of blemishes and small bumps. I was in need of a peeling gel, so I was excited to try this one out. The best part is how it smooths out dead skin cells right after use. My skin feels incredibly soft! It's surprisingly moisturizing too - no dryness or tightness afterwards. Plus, it didn't cause any new breakouts!
ConsBeing a physical exfoliant, it wasn't completely free of irritation. The scrubbing sensation was stronger than my usual product, making me wonder if I should continue using it. For me, it felt a bit harsh - almost like rubbing sand on my face. Also, while it seems effective at first, after a while the dead skin cells start clumping together, making it less effective. I probably won't repurchase or use up what's left.
TipI wouldn't recommend this for super sensitive skin. After use, it might be good to apply a soothing mask or aloe gel to calm the skin!

While I'm not an expert, visually it seems to effectively remove dead skin cells to just the right degree. Unlike other products that strip away even the essential skin barrier, leaving my face feeling tight and dry after exfoliation, this one maintains a level of moisture similar to what I'd feel after just cleansing. The hydration seems to last quite well too.
ConsI haven't used it long enough to see any significant changes in my skin yet.

First off, the scent isn't overpowering. Compared to strongly fragranced products, this one was much easier to accept! 2. It seems to be quite gentle. The exfoliating particles are quite small, so it wasn't very irritating! Perhaps due to the small particles, it felt like it effectively removed dead skin cells even from around the nose area. 3. The hydration feels good too. With some other products I've used before, my skin would feel tight or stiff afterwards, but with the Paha peeling gel, that sensation was minimal. Also, this is just my personal impression, but... maybe because the dead skin cells were removed so well, my makeup seemed to apply more smoothly the day after using this.
ConsGiven that it's a peeling gel with exfoliating particles, it wasn't completely free from irritation. My skin tends to be sensitive to peeling gels, so I made sure to massage it very gently.
TipSince I have super sensitive skin, I only used it once a week. Even though it didn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight afterwards, I always finished with a moisturizer as part of my skincare routine.

I've been using it twice a week as instructed on the package. I've used it a total of 4 times since receiving the product. After drying your face, apply the product and gently massage it in circular motions. To cut to the chase, this might be the best peeling gel I've ever used. After exfoliating, it rinses off easily with water. The finish is refreshing without being drying - in fact, the hydration is top-notch. Most peeling gels lack in moisture, but this one really delivers in that department. I highly recommend it for a non-sticky finish, even in summer. It's truly amazing!
ConsIt would have been really helpful if they had specified exactly how much product to use... Unfortunately, that information wasn't provided.
TipTo elaborate on the drawback mentioned, the amount to use may vary depending on face size, but think of an area about the size of a quarter or a half-dollar coin. Remember, I mean a quarter, not a silver dollar!

There weren't any dramatic effects like my face suddenly brightening or looking super smooth. However, compared to other exfoliators, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. The next day when I'm applying makeup, I notice that my base goes on really well. I've used AHA creams from other brands before. I bought them because I have super sensitive skin and was looking for gentle, high-quality ingredients. While those products didn't cause any blemishes, they always made my skin itchy, making me hesitant to use them (they became a bit of a white elephant). When I inquired about the product, they said some itching could occur because it's dissolving dead skin cells. I tried this product because PHA is supposed to improve on the drawbacks of AHA. To my surprise, there was absolutely no itching at all!
ConsIt's not really a bad point, but it might be down to personal preference. A friend who uses peeling gels tried this product once and said it felt like she just washed her face with water. Some people want that refreshing feeling of sloughing off dead skin cells, but this product doesn't give that sensation at all... I guess that's because it's a gentle exfoliator? Oh, and throughout the four times I used it, I noticed that the whiteheads below my lips remained almost unchanged. Maybe it's because it's summer... I wonder if it'll improve with consistent use. I'll leave another review after I finish the whole bottle.

However, while my previous exfoliators were mild, I never really felt like they effectively removed dead skin cells. But with Benton's peeling gel, I was amazed to see it actually cleared the sebum and blackheads on my nose! I was surprised by how smooth my nose felt, how my skin didn't feel dry after cleansing, and how non-irritating it was. Honestly, this is the first time I've used an exfoliator with such noticeable results!
ConsThe packaging leaves much to be desired. This is my first time trying a Benton product, and the font, logo, and color scheme give off a bit of an 80s cosmetics vibe. It's not very appealing.
