While many official website reviews mentioned the soap being too soft, the one I purchased doesn't dissolve easily in water, so I've been using it for a long time. It doesn't lather much either. Usually, it takes about a month to use up a 100g bar of soap, but with this product, I still have about 40g left after nearly a month. When I first used it after purchase, it had a subtle fragrant blend of frankincense, bay leaf, and bergamot, but now, after 3 weeks, it's almost unscented. Among Lush soaps, this has the most subtle scent, so the fragrance doesn't linger on your skin after use. While it's less drying on the skin after washing hands, its cleansing effectiveness is average.
ConsOther people mentioned it had an air freshening effect in the bathroom, saying you could smell the soap when you opened the bathroom door. But strangely, the soap I bought isn't soft at all - it feels like all the moisture has been drained from it. It doesn't lather well, and I can barely smell any fragrance. :( The scent is too subtle - I wish it were a bit stronger. You need to rub it for quite a while to work up a lather, which can be frustrating when you're in a hurry and it still won't foam up no matter how much you rub. :(
