The scent is a blend of orange and lemon. You know that fresh, zesty smell when you peel a tangerine or orange? That's exactly it. The fragrance is quite intense, so two or three sprays can last up to 6 hours. While I haven't timed it precisely, even after a while, if you rub your wrist against your scalp and take a whiff, the scent lingers. It really keeps those unwanted hair odors at bay! I bought this for those rushed mornings when I can't wash my hair, worried about potential odors. It's perfect for that purpose!
