The biggest advantage was not having to use multiple cleansing products like foam cleansers and lip and eye makeup removers! As someone with dry skin, I often find cleansers a bit drying, so I usually rush to apply toner right after. However, this product left my skin feeling moisturized even after rinsing, which was a relief. It also removed makeup as effectively as a dedicated makeup remover! One downside was that it doesn't work as well on wet skin. While it removes makeup easily with a few rolls when applied to a dry face, it's less effective if there's moisture on your hands or face. So I've been applying it to my face before washing. Despite this, its cleansing effectiveness is still good! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 28, 2019
Since I usually wear waterproof and color makeup, I used to use an eye and lip remover followed by a foam cleanser for a thorough cleanse. But on tired days, double cleansing felt like such a chore. So I went looking for a gentle cleanser that could remove everything in one go, and I tried the Rose Milk Cleanser because the packaging was so pretty! Surprisingly, it was super gentle yet effectively removed my eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick! After using foam cleansers, my skin would feel dry quickly, but with this product, even after rinsing, my skin didn't feel tight or dry at all. It kept my skin moisturized, which I loved. These days, I just pump it twice, gently massage it onto my eyes, and voila! All my makeup comes off effortlessly. It's so convenient! While using it, I didn't find any major drawbacks, but when I checked Hwahae, I noticed there was one ingredient to be cautious about. I have sensitive skin, and when I used it, I didn't experience any irritation or issues. It's just disappointing to see a cautionary ingredient listed there, which makes me feel a bit uneasy. Since it's an emulsifying product, I noticed it doesn't work properly if there's water on the areas where you've applied makeup. For best results, apply it to a dry face and gently massage - that's when it removes everything effectively!
