I usually do a peeling mask once in a while during winter. After consistently using other brands, I decided to try Holika Holika's product this time. It's really effective at removing dead skin cells from my feet! Given the nature of this type of product, you'll notice a lot of dead skin cells coming off within a week. It's important to keep this in mind when using it. - ir********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2022
Overall, I'm quite satisfied. I love these foot peeling masks, and this one has a gauze or non-woven fabric inside, making it more comfortable to wear. Some cheaper options just have liquid in a plastic bag. The dead skin cells peel off cleanly. While some products cause peeling like powder for over a week, this one finishes within a week, shedding like a snake's skin. The best part is how it resets your feet to a clean state in one go. I also appreciate that it doesn't cause an intense burning sensation. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. In terms of value for money, I'd say it's about average. While it's great that you can exfoliate all at once, the week of peeling dead skin cells can be quite a mess... During that time, always wear socks and soak your feet in warm water to help the skin come off faster. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2020
I thought my dead skin cells weren't coming off, but after 4-5 days, they suddenly started peeling and falling away. Soaking for an hour and a half can be a bit of a hassle. Be aware that it contains some ingredients to watch out for, so check before buying. You might find dead skin cells scattered around your room. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 9, 2019
Simple to use! It comes with sock-shaped plastic bags. Just pour in the peeling solution, seal the bags, and wait for an hour and a half. It's really straightforward. Seems perfect for when you're sitting for long periods. It takes some time for the dead skin cells to start peeling off. The instructions say it begins after 4 days, but for me, my feet just looked cracked and dry like a drought-stricken land for about 5 days. On the 6th day, I started to see some peeling, and now, a week later, it's really starting to come off. But this is just the beginning! The dead skin doesn't all come off at once - it's a bit here and a bit there. Considering this, it might take a full two weeks for the peeling process to complete. Also, the dead skin comes off in tiny flakes, like bread crumbs, so you'll be leaving a trail wherever you go. You'll need to clean up after yourself all day long. I highly recommend using a lint roller! The liquid leaked from the plastic bags later on. Even after the solution dried, it remained sticky no matter how much I wiped. I was sitting for so long that I didn't realize it was leaking, and I ended up sticking to various surfaces. After about an hour, make sure to check the bottom of the plastic bags. It's expensive. I was lucky to buy it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, but even then, paying over 7000 won for two isn't exactly cheap. Even with the promotion, considering the effects, I probably won't buy it again next time. When the dead skin starts to peel, carry a lint roller with you and frequently clean up after yourself. Be aware that the solution might leak from the plastic bags, so keep checking. If you're going to buy it, do so during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2019
If you have dry skin, you'll know that feeling when putting on stockings or leggings in winter - your feet catch on the fabric. I use this about once a year, and it effectively removes dead skin cells in just a week. When even a foot file can't get rid of the rough patches, try this. It truly makes your feet smooth. The downside is that the dead skin cells gradually come back after a while. Be warned, you might be mistaken for someone with poor hygiene during the peeling process! People might think you never wash your feet. As expected, given the strong ingredients, it contains 3 out of 20 caution ingredients and 8 type-specific caution ingredients. I wonder why they added fragrance though. The liquid doesn't even smell, and since you're washing it off anyway, the fragrance seems like an unnecessary ingredient. I'm considering switching to a product with better ingredients compared to this one. As shown in the picture, you need to wear it like socks on both feet for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I recommend doing this while relaxing at home or watching TV. I unknowingly started using it right before bed, and now I'm waiting up because it says 1 hour and 30 minutes. While I have some time left, I'm writing this review. - fl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 27, 2015
After 20 years of struggle, I've discovered a new world for my feet. For the first time, I've seen the inner layers of my heels that even buffers, scrubs, and pumice stones couldn't reveal. It effortlessly removed dead skin cells from my toes that were too difficult to buff away. Though it took a week, the effort and slight inconvenience were absolutely worth it. During the two-hour foot soak, I experienced a slight burning sensation and numbness. From the fourth day, when dead skin cells start to lift, soak your feet thoroughly in water and gently rub with a pumice stone. This shortens the process as the dead skin cells fall off more easily.
