It lathers well (decent cleansing effectiveness) while not leaving your skin feeling tight after rinsing (mildly acidic). I'd recommend this cleansing foam as a morning cleanser for those with oily skin who need to protect their skin barrier.
ConsThe price is a bit high, which is disappointing. Also, for thorough cleansing in the evening, you'll need to use a separate alkaline cleanser to feel truly clean.

I received it as a gift with a purchase over 70,000 won. After cleansing, I feel less deep dryness and more hydration. It's a low pH cleanser with antioxidant ingredients, boasting 0% artificial fragrances and colorants. I was looking for a good low pH cleanser and scored this one as a freebie!
ConsThe lack of foam makes me doubt its cleansing effectiveness. When I use a cleansing water after, it still picks up makeup residue. It might be good for a basic cleanse, but I won't be repurchasing this product.
TipUsing a foam net makes it a bit better.

ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather well, which makes me feel like I'm not getting a thorough cleanse

I was really into Paula's Choice at the time, and when I saw it on sale on their US site with decent reviews, I decided to give it a go! While it doesn't lather much, it's still easy enough to apply. I absolutely love that it's fragrance-free... The best part is how my skin doesn't feel tight after washing - such a relief!
ConsThe price is a bit of a letdown... I'm using it sparingly to make it last. As for its cleansing effectiveness, I'm not entirely sure. But that's okay since I wasn't looking for a super powerful cleanser to begin with...
TipThough I don't wear makeup daily, I'm religious about applying sunscreen every day. So I use Bioderma cleansing water for my first cleanse, followed by this as my second step. Thankfully, they offer a larger size, which is what I'm currently using.

I know it's a low pH cleanser, but it leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean.
ConsThe steep price is a bit of a letdown. Unless it's on sale, I probably won't give it a second glance.

Mildly acidic + Effective cleansing Being slightly acidic, it doesn't dry out the skin. However, it's not too weak either. It might not remove waterproof sunscreen in one go. For heavier makeup, massage for about a minute or do a double cleanse. 2. Gentle feel The ingredients are essentially the same as the original. The difference is the added ceramides, which make it feel incredibly soft. While some say texture isn't crucial for cleansers, I believe it can actually influence your cleansing habits. A gentle cleanser encourages a gentler massage, minimizing skin damage. 3. Pump dispenser Hygienic and convenient packaging. If only all cosmetics came with pumps... 4. Paula's Choice reliability, e.g., clean ingredient list This is a common advantage of Paula's Choice products. I appreciate the no-frills, functional ingredient list. No fragrances or dyes. Plus, they're cruelty-free.
ConsThe price is a bit steep... I usually dock stars for unreasonable pricing, but I didn't here because I don't find it unjustified. They've added ceramides for improved texture, which is admittedly a luxury in a cleanser, and there's an exact alternative from the same brand available.
TipStock up during sales! Take your time massaging it in and don't rinse off too quickly.

It seems to be mildly acidic, and with only a few additional ingredients, there doesn't appear to be a huge difference.
ConsThe downside is that it's considerably more expensive than the Skin Balancing line.

It has a similar texture to the Skin Balancing Cleanser, but leaves the skin feeling more hydrated without tightness and offers excellent cleansing effectiveness. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use.
ConsCompared to the basic line cleansers, the quantity is less, so you'll find yourself using it up rather quickly.
TipInstead of lathering in your hands, apply it directly to your face and massage it in for a more thorough cleansing. This method helps to clean more effectively.

The hydration effect was impressive!
ConsThe downside is that it doesn't smell great and barely lathers. Being low pH, its cleansing effectiveness isn't the best, so be careful!

After rinsing, there's no dryness, itching, burning sensation, or redness, making this a great find after a long time. It's perfect as a second-step cleanser. When I wear makeup in the evening, I use a cleansing milk first, then finish with this product - leaving my skin clean, refreshed, and smooth! The foam isn't mousse-like, but it's an incredibly soft, creamy lather that allows me to gently roll over my T-zone multiple times without irritation. This makes it possible to thoroughly cleanse away sebum that's built up after long hours outside.
ConsThe day after I bought it, I accidentally dropped it in the bathtub and the neck of the container broke... I've dropped many products on the floor before, but this is the first time one has snapped like this. I'm still using it by pressing down, but it's so annoying that I might have to buy a new one during the Thanksgiving sale... It's not a container where I can transfer the product elsewhere, so I'll just have to assume there's less risk of contamination.
TipWhen I occasionally notice small whiteheads starting to appear on my nose, I apply this product and gently roll it with the Innisfree** spatula-like rubber stick with bumps, then rinse. The whiteheads disappear! It's important to resist the urge to squeeze with the other end of the rubber tool - that would be a big no-no! If you have the tool, use it; if not, don't go out and buy one... That would be silly! Just use your ring finger to massage the area vigorously instead.
