  Pros

  This is a gentle, basic product I've been using with satisfaction for over 5 years. It's great for cleansing sunscreen and base makeup, and the price is good for the amount you get. The texture is light, not oily, and I love that it has no particular scent. As someone with dry skin, I don't use a separate foam cleanser, just this cleansing emulsion, and I appreciate that it doesn't leave any residue on my skin.

  Ingredients: I just noticed today that it contains mineral oil - I might need to look for an alternative product. Cleansing effectiveness: It works fine when I wear light makeup, but it doesn't remove heavier makeup in one go. On days when I wear more makeup, I need to use a foam cleanser as well.

  Pros

  I initially said there were no good points because I couldn't think of any, but even after pondering due to character count requirements, I still can't find any advantages. This product is truly terrible. Compared to other Paula's Choice cleansers of the same price and volume, you end up using an enormous amount each time. Despite that, it doesn't even cleanse well. If you use another product once, you'd need to use this one three times as much. Even then, it still doesn't clean properly.

  Isn't this cleanser only suitable for people with already perfect skin, where maintaining the status quo would be a blessing? I tried it when my skin was dry and saw no real effect. Using it in summer, even with a large amount, it doesn't cleanse properly. Compared to other Paula's Choice products of the same volume, the amount used per application is much higher. That's just wasting money. It's not even good despite that - it's an infuriating product. The cleansing sensation is like washing your face with yogurt - imagine that. Does yogurt lather up if you use a lot? Exactly. It's just an incomprehensible product. I think I've seen someone say that foam doesn't correlate with cleansing effectiveness, but even so, this is beyond hope. The reviews on Paula's Choice website are truly baffling - they're all 4-5 stars, which is really strange. Unless you're born with naturally perfect skin or someone gave it to you for free, I can't understand it. Actually, I wouldn't even recommend it to those people, as it might make their skin worse.

  I've been using this for over 3 years. It's gentle and hydrating. A product well-suited for dry skin. I consider it a good value for the price.

  Cons

  It doesn't remove point makeup effectively, so a separate cleansing product is needed. However, since I don't often wear heavy makeup, it's not a major issue for me.

  I recommend this as a morning cleanser. Since you don't need a harsh cleanser in the morning, I think this gentle formula is perfect for a morning routine.

  It feels a bit lacking when it comes to completely removing makeup. I'd advise against relying on this alone for thorough makeup cleansing. For makeup removal, I suggest having a separate cleansing oil on hand. (Personally, I found the illi cleansing oil to be quite good.)

  As someone with dry skin, I exclusively use this product. After cleansing, my skin feels less tight. While it doesn't lather, it gives a soft and clean feeling when washing.

  It doesn't seem to remove heavy makeup effectively. Even for light makeup, I need to cleanse twice for it to come off completely.
