The matte finish may not be suitable if you're looking for a dewy or luminous makeup look.
As a combination skin type, I started to feel a bit of dryness from the product, especially during seasonal changes, so it may be quite drying for dry skin types.

The long-lasting, adherent, and high-coverage formula makes it great for use even in the summer, and it peels off slightly less than other foundations when wearing a mask.
After trying other brand foundations and even other products from the same brand, I always end up coming back to this - it's my holy grail product.

Even though it has a pink base, it looks natural when compared to other products.

When using the latex puff, it causes patchiness and clogged pores.
The darkening effect is also far too severe - by the afternoon, my face looks completely dull and lifeless.

One-pick foundation

Personally, I found that applying it flatly on a palette and then lightly dabbing it on with a puff gives the best lasting power and significantly reduces pore clogging when it starts to wear off.

- Moisture: It's not oily, but it doesn't finish powdery either, so I'd describe it as having a moisturized finish. If you really dislike that dewy look, you may not like it. But the upside is it doesn't emphasize dryness or flakiness much. It also doesn't accentuate pores too much, so with a good powder application, it's not too much of an issue even in the peak of summer. However, it does leave some mask marks!

- Color & Lasting Power: Since the color is pink, it makes the complexion look brighter. As a combination skin type, the most important factor is how it wears off, but even when it does, the complexion still looks bright! My combination-skinned sister also said the color suits her skin tone well and it still looks pretty when it wears off, so it seems the product itself has good color payoff and lasting power regardless of skin condition. For my oily skin, it lasts a good 8 hours.

- Easy to Apply Formula: The formula is not watery and flows, so it's easy to spread it evenly with your fingers. But it's also not too thick, so it doesn't give a heavy, made-up look.

The price is a bit disappointing.
And the coverage doesn't seem to be extremely high.

I tried the sample and the color coverage and skin expression are amazing!
I couldn't find anything good other than Armani and Lancome, but I had no plans to use Chanel foundation since I was never satisfied with it. But when the foundation sample came up, I just tried it and wow... it's amazing! Chanel makeup products have really improved a lot.

I thought it was just right, not too matte, but personally I can't use it anymore.. It's just so disappointing.

The skin expression is well-represented without being too excessive. I haven't been using it since I developed folliculitis due to the oiliness.
