I need to stock up ASAP! I have combination dehydrated skin with some redness and slightly visible pores in the T-zone. My personal color analysis showed a light undertone, and I have a slightly fair complexion with pink undertones, around shade 21. I've never been a fan of dewy foundations, so I've always stuck to semi-matte ones. Here's a rundown of the products I've tried: 1. Estée Lauder Double Wear in Porcelain ❤︎ The coverage and mask-proof formula are truly top-notch. However, the shade didn't match me well, making me look dull, and it occasionally emphasized dead skin cells. 2. Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Plus in 1.5 ❤︎ The coverage was decent, and the shade was light, but it had a slight yellow tinge. I'm considering trying a different shade. Sometimes it's tricky to apply with a spatula, and when it fades, I didn't find it particularly flattering. Now, the one I've settled on, 💗Chanel Ultra Le Teint💗, is absolutely flawless... seriously... First off, the color is a gorgeous pink base, perfect for fair-skinned cool-toned individuals - you'll love it! The application is incredible... it works so well with a spatula, blending like a dream. The coverage is pretty good too, in my opinion! It's just the perfect foundation... please don't discontinue it!
ConsThere's really nothing to complain about... though I suppose it would be nice if the coverage was a bit higher.
TipTry it with a spatula! It applies so smoothly, you'll be amazed.

First off, the color is absolutely gorgeous. While Chanel products often have a strong pink base, BD01 brightens up your complexion without being excessively red. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've used Double Wear, which is the holy grail of foundations, but found both Bone and Porcelain too dark and unsatisfying. This product completely meets my expectations in terms of color. It adheres well to the skin, doesn't break down messily, and I'm consistently satisfied with its performance every time I use it.
ConsThe scent has Chanel's signature peachy fragrance, which is quite strong. While it doesn't make me nauseous or feel overpowering, you can definitely notice its presence as soon as you open the cap. I was heartbroken when I heard rumors about it being discontinued, but thankfully it's still available on the official website and department store online shops. Please don't discontinue it!
TipFor best results, start with a solid skincare routine, apply sunscreen and primer in thin layers, then lightly apply the foundation. Use a beauty sponge (both dry and damp, depending on your skin condition) to pat and blend it in for a beautiful finish that adheres well to the skin.

It's not too pink for Asian skin tones, but just the right amount. Very pretty. Probably around shade 17-19. ⭐️Texture: Semi-matte to matte. Completely blurs pores!!! Covers pores well. The unevenness is not too bad. It applies thinly but has decent coverage. Since it's on the matte side, exfoliating is necessary. ⭐️Longevity: Good. Not extremely long-lasting, but lasts quite a while. Over time, it blends well with the natural skin tone and has a slightly fading effect.
Cons⭐️During the pandemic: In a mask, it breaks down very unattractively. Without a mask at home, the breakdown wasn't too bad. It didn't break down beautifully on my own skin.
TipUsing a pore brush to apply a thin layer and then patting with a dense puff can create a flawless skin finish. It particularly covers pores perfectly!!

There's something unique about how it feels when you apply it. It's hard to explain, but it's really nice. Color: The bright color with a subtle pink base will likely suit those who prefer that kind of tone. Coverage: I was amazed that just one pump covered everything when I first applied it. It truly covers with minimal product! Scent: While it might be a matter of personal preference, I loved the peach scent. Every time I moved slightly, I could catch a whiff of peach, which was quite pleasant. Skin texture: My skin looks beautiful right after application. I have some acne scars and uneven skin texture, but it made my skin look pretty. Darkening: I appreciated that it maintained its brightness without darkening over time.
ConsBreakdown: When I look in the mirror from a distance, it seems to hold up well without getting messy. However, up close, I noticed it was turning white and clumping in little balls. I was surprised by this since I have dry skin and had applied a thorough base, so it caught me off guard. Color selection: Choosing the right shade was really challenging. I have a slightly warmer tone than shade 21, but I don't like using pink-based foundations as they make my makeup look too obvious. Even BD01 seemed more pink-based to me.
TipThis product might be great for those who like a pink base and don't have dry skin. The product itself is really good, but it just doesn't work for me. I prefer a light yellow base and need blemish coverage, so I'm considering switching to Double Wear or Banila Co.

My skin is so dry that even in hot summer, Double Wear foundation can look patchy. I heard Chanel Le Teint has similar longevity to Double Wear but is less matte, so I decided to buy it! First off, the BD01 shade is a beautiful ivory with a hint of pink, giving a bright and pretty complexion - so the color gets a pass! It can be applied thickly, but you can also apply it thinly, making it suitable for those who don't like heavy coverage. What I'm most satisfied with is that it finishes with a comfortably powdery feel without any dryness, even in summer! There's no patchiness, and it doesn't transfer much to masks. While it lacks that unique glow you get with Double Wear when first applied, which makes the skin look a bit less radiant, I found that as time passes, it gives a well-made-up look without patchiness and feels more natural than Chanel foundation. It's also gentle on the skin, making it a go-to foundation for daily use.
ConsThe coverage is lower than Double Wear. It goes on transparently and naturally, so the skin shows through, and even when layered, the coverage is a bit lacking. Even when applied thickly on areas needing coverage, it fell short in concealing dark spots. This aspect is a bit disappointing.
TipThe texture of this foundation is quite thick, so if not applied correctly, it could look heavy. I recommend applying it thinly, spreading small amounts bit by bit, and building up in thin layers. Also, from top to bottom in the image: Futurist Cool Gel Creme, Double Wear Sheer, and Chanel BD01. As you can see in the photo, Double Wear might appear less heavy, but it clings to the skin like tape and feels dry. Chanel felt comfortable on the face without any dryness.
