The most crucial factor for me - smudging!!! It was practically non-existent, I'm so thrilled! Having used mascara consistently from middle school to my late twenties, I've tried a wide range of products, but this one is by far the best. I've used them all - Etude House, Kiss Me, Wake Make, Missha, Clio, Peripera, Daisy'c, Banila Co, Tony Moly, Maybelline New York - you name it. But they all have one thing in common: by afternoon, the area under my eyes turns dark. Not with this one though!!!!! There's a slight drooping in the afternoon, but... the lack of smudging makes me extremely satisfied. A few days ago, on a day with torrential rain, I was out and about sweating in extremely humid conditions from morning till night, yet there was hardly any smudging. That's when I decided to make this my go-to mascara. The application is also good, and overall, I'm very pleased with it. The toothbrush-shaped brush part is useless...
