There's a green product in the same line - try using that for definition, then layer this one on top for volume. The result is gorgeous! Highly recommended for those with naturally sparse or thin lashes that don't hold a curl well.

The mascara wand picks up too much product, so controlling the amount is essential. You also need to clean the wand frequently, which means some product goes to waste, unfortunately.

The staying power is fantastic! Apply it in the morning, and it lasts until evening. It gives your makeup a beautiful glow, and unlike some products that smudge around the eyes without powder, this one stays put without any smearing or drooping. Great value for money too - at this price point, you can achieve full, clean-looking lashes. It's become my go-to!

The green Holika Holika mascara is absolutely amazing.

I'm writing this review based on my personal purchase and use of this product.

I've been using this for over 10 years now. 
I have sparse, short, and thin eyelashes.
However, I believe eyelashes are crucial, so I always use Etude's fixer after curling.
Then, I apply Kiss Me Long & Curl mascara to add color and length, followed by Etude Curl Fix mascara to set the curl.
When I want even more length, I use Holika Holika mascara, but be careful with this as it can make lashes look like spider legs if not controlled well.
Even though my natural lashes are truly awful, using these products allows me to achieve beautiful mascara looks.
I'm truly grateful for these products.

The only downside? It only comes in black. It would be nice to have a brown option too, but the product's performance is so good that I can overlook this.

I tried this mascara based on a YouTuber's recommendation, and it's truly amazing! I've been using the same mascara for nearly 7-8 years, but on days when my lashes wouldn't curl well, it would droop terribly. I've been wanting to switch, and this was the perfect opportunity to make a clean break. I'm so glad I did!

Mascara brush and volume:
Despite having naturally thick lashes, I've experienced some lash loss this year, so I've started preferring mascaras that offer more volume. I usually favor thicker mascara brushes for their volumizing effect, and this Holika product doesn't disappoint. Its brush has just the right thickness - not too thin - creating a defined and clean volume that really makes my lashes stand out.

Curl retention and staying power:
Having thick, downward-pointing lashes means I put extra effort into my mascara routine. I typically apply a fixing mascara, followed by a volumizing or curling mascara, then use a heated lash curler, and finish with another layer of fixing mascara. With this routine, the initial curl lasts for over 6 hours. I'm pleased that this mascara formula isn't too heavy or droopy.

Clumping and flaking:
This mascara applies smoothly without clumping. Once it dries, there's minimal flaking, so it rarely leaves any residue under the eyes. This helps maintain a clean, polished eye look throughout the day.

Not recommended if you're going for a natural look! It goes on thick and dark.

Oh my goodness, you absolutely must buy this! Look at that photo - I had been crying for over an hour, so all my eyeshadow, glitter, everything had run off and disappeared. But do you see how those lashes are still perfectly curled? Highly recommended for those with monolids! The thick, heavy eyelid skin is just lifted up by the lashes, making your eyes look 1.5 times bigger. When I try to open my eyes wide for photos, I even get a double eyelid! I'm someone with seriously overflowing eyelid skin, but wow, this mascara is just incredible. It gives you doll-like lashes - this is what lashes should be! For all you crybabies out there, you need this mascara. Even when your eyes are super puffy, your lashes will still be standing tall, maintaining your eye size.

There's a slight clumping issue, but it's still good overall and removes easily during cleansing.

After exclusively using Clio mascaras, I tried this one for the first time. I'm satisfied with its long-lasting effect.

The downside is that while its staying power is impressive, it's also quite difficult to remove. Even after double cleansing, there can still be some residue left.

I bought this as a 1+1 deal based on recommendations. Although I've only used it once, so it's a bit early for a full review, I can say it's quite intense to apply at first. It's tricky to control the amount, easily clumping, and it's especially challenging to apply at the outer corners of the eyes. The curve doesn't seem to match my eye shape perfectly. However, the product performance is outstanding. After applying it, I went shopping, dropped off some alterations, and then crashed for about 4-5 hours when I got home. When I woke up, my lashes were still flawless.

I really loved the pre-renewal product and used 2-3 of them, but when I tried the post-renewal version, it was difficult to control the amount and kept clumping. It's disappointing

If you curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, adjust the amount, and apply it, the curl holds quite well

Compared to shade #1, the setting time seems a bit slower. If you blink too soon after application, it tends to smudge easily.

I'm a fan of tube packaging, so I liked this right away. It really enhances volume and gives a noticeable boost.

Curling: This product maintains its curling effect for a long time, and you don't need to apply multiple coats for amazing results!

Longevity: Another crucial aspect of mascara is its staying power! I was thrilled that it lasted perfectly from morning to night.

Smudge-proof: I absolutely hate under-eye smudging, but this product doesn't smudge on me at all, so I'm using it with high satisfaction! Even during the humid rainy season, it stayed put without any smudging!

Brush: The toothbrush-like brush is a key feature! If the bristles are too thick, it can be uncomfortable, but these aren't, making application easy! However, if you have very fleshy eyelids, it might transfer a bit!

Cleansing: Removing it isn't particularly difficult either! It comes off easily with a standard lip and eye makeup remover, just like most mascaras!
