It effectively removes most of the sebum.
ConsFor a cleanser, it contains some questionable ingredients... I have sensitive skin, but so far I haven't had any issues.

Compared to cleansing oil, it feels lighter, more refreshing, and less irritating! While the cleansing effectiveness is slightly less impressive, I've developed a routine: I massage my face with the cleansing water, wipe it off with a sponge, and then follow up with a cleansing foam for a double cleanse. This method makes me feel like I've thoroughly cleaned my skin, removing all residue from deep within my pores.
ConsThe product volume is too small, unfortunately. Also, since I tend to wear heavy makeup, I didn't see perfect cleansing results. As a result, I end up using more product, which means it runs out quickly. In short, it requires using a lot of product!
TipI've found that applying the cleansing water like a cleansing pack and leaving it on for a bit before cleansing improves its effectiveness!

It's nearly fragrance-free, making it universally appealing. The convenience of one-step cleansing without needing to rinse afterwards is fantastic. On those nights when I'm exhausted, it's a relief to quickly remove makeup residue without the hassle of a full cleansing routine.
ConsThe main drawback is the somewhat limited volume. It would be great if they released a larger size in the future.
TipGently wiping your face with a cotton pad soaked in this product leaves it perfectly clean! Not only does it cleanse well, but it also provides long-lasting hydration comparable to applying a generous amount of toner, eliminating the need for a separate moisturizer.

Among water-based products, it has good cleansing effectiveness and doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry after washing. I generously soak three cotton pads with the product and wipe my face. It doesn't cause any tingling sensation, and actually feels more thorough than cleansing foam. The scent is also mild, so there's hardly any irritation.
ConsI wish they would release a larger size product. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with everything else.
TipI use three cotton pads soaked in eye makeup remover for eyes and lips, then three more pads generously soaked in this water for the whole face, followed by rinsing with water. It's more convenient than cleansing foam or oil, and leaves less deep dryness after washing, which I love!

I used to always remove my makeup with cleansing oil followed by a foam cleanser, but this product is so convenient when I'm feeling lazy. I just soak a cotton pad and wipe it off - it's so easy and effective. Since I don't wear heavy makeup, this water-based cleanser seems to remove everything thoroughly. What's great is that it feels almost completely non-irritating on my skin.
ConsThe only downside is that the amount you get feels a bit small for the price. If you use it daily, I think it might run out pretty quickly.

Unlike other products, the ingredient list is refreshingly simple and gentle-looking. The cleansing effectiveness was far better than I expected. While I don't wear heavy makeup, generously soaking a cotton pad and wiping gently removed even stubborn mineral sunscreen, cushion foundation, and gel eyeliner with ease. I've been a fan of Bioderma cleansing water, but for those concerned about PEGs, this product is worth a try. I'll definitely repurchase!
ConsWhile removing makeup from most areas was fine, I noticed a burning sensation and tingling specifically when cleansing my lips. Like other products, it can be irritating if used repeatedly. It's best to use a generous amount on a cotton pad and remove makeup thoroughly in as few swipes as possible.
TipEven though it's a no-rinse formula, if you want to minimize dryness, a quick rinse with water afterwards is beneficial!

Scent: I loved that there wasn't any overpowering fragrance! Convenience: Although it's a cleansing water that doesn't require rinsing, I still found myself rinsing out of habit. However, for travel or situations where rinsing isn't possible, I think you could just wipe it off with a tissue. Feel: It was great that it cleansed without leaving any sticky residue.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing! If I had to nitpick, I think a spray bottle might have been more convenient for on-the-go use, but I didn't really find it inconvenient while using it.

It's perfect for hot summer days when sweat and fine dust mix with makeup. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness in dry winter months, it's definitely sufficient for summer cleansing on its own. Compared to using oil cleanser followed by foam cleanser, Physiogel water alone leaves my skin feeling fresher and more thoroughly cleansed. What's truly amazing is how my face glows after using just this cleansing water and rinsing with plain water. There's no tightness, and my complexion actually looks brighter than when I woke up. I have zero desire to write a fake review - this is genuinely a product I want to keep using. After using about half the bottle and alternating with other brands' oil-mixed water cleansers, I find myself preferring Physiogel for its thorough cleansing and refreshing feel.
ConsThe presence of phenoxyethanol in the ingredients list is slightly concerning. While I'm not sure what preservatives are used in products claiming zero harmful ingredients, I understand this is necessary for maintaining product freshness. So, regarding ingredients, it's acceptable.
TipSaturate a cotton pad thoroughly and wipe twice. By the second application, there's hardly any residue left, demonstrating its excellent cleansing effectiveness.

This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. Skin type: Sensitive + redness + flushing + thin skin Cleansing effectiveness: I honestly didn't expect much cleansing power from a cleansing water, but after using it with a cotton pad, I was pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness. It removed makeup easily, which was satisfying. For those who wear basic makeup like eyeliner, lipstick, eyebrow products, and eyeshadow, this might be sufficient for a first cleanse! However, for tints or waterproof mascara, you'll need to rub a bit more. For these stubborn products, you might want to use a separate remover (as you can see in the third photo below, where I applied waterproof mascara - it didn't come off easily, and my skin became red from repeated rubbing). Irritation: Despite having thin and sensitive skin, I didn't feel any irritation. However, it can sting a little if the product gets into your eyes. Scent: As someone who's particularly sensitive to fragrances, I appreciated that this product is unscented. Skin feel: After use, my skin doesn't feel oily or tight, just fresh and clean.
ConsPhenoxyethanol: As I have sensitive skin, I always check the Hwahae app before buying cosmetics. It's really disappointing that this contains phenoxyethanol. To be honest, I deducted one star because of this ingredient. Value for money: The amount you get for the price is a bit disappointing. The product seems to run out quickly with each use.

So initially, I couldn't even consider using cleansing water. I was really worried about wiping with cotton pads, but wow! I've been using this for just over a week now without any issues. It's definitely a gentle cleanser in my opinion. What I personally liked was its cleansing effectiveness. After the first wipe, there's hardly anything left on the second pass! So it's great that I don't need to use it multiple times. Also, I'm sensitive to fragrances and often can't use products even if they suit my skin otherwise, but Physiogel's cleansing water is unscented, so I had no aversion to it and really, really loved it!
ConsI think it would be nice if it came in a larger size, as you'd expect from a cleanser. Remember how I said I only wipe twice? Well, you can visibly see how much it decreases with each use. So I think it would be great if they could increase the quantity a bit and offer it in a pump bottle format.
TipTwo cotton pads should be enough! Also, you don't need a separate second cleanse, just do an extra wipe on days when you feel you've applied heavier makeup.
