ConsWow, using this product makes my skin incredibly sensitive. It stings even with the slightest touch. While it's fine on the back of my hand, it's unbearably painful on my face. I ended up only using it to play with swatches on my hand.

Unlike other products, the ingredient list is refreshingly simple and gentle-looking. The cleansing effectiveness was far better than I expected. While I don't wear heavy makeup, generously soaking a cotton pad and wiping gently removed even stubborn mineral sunscreen, cushion foundation, and gel eyeliner with ease. I've been a fan of Bioderma cleansing water, but for those concerned about PEGs, this product is worth a try. I'll definitely repurchase!
ConsWhile removing makeup from most areas was fine, I noticed a burning sensation and tingling specifically when cleansing my lips. Like other products, it can be irritating if used repeatedly. It's best to use a generous amount on a cotton pad and remove makeup thoroughly in as few swipes as possible.
TipEven though it's a no-rinse formula, if you want to minimize dryness, a quick rinse with water afterwards is beneficial!

(Just keep in mind that I rarely wear color makeup, so the 'cleansing power' I'm referring to is mostly for skin base products.) I usually don't get along well with cleansing waters, so I've always used cleansing creams. When I started using this product, I was skeptical about how well it would remove makeup. I even did a little experiment where I followed up with my usual cleansing cream after using this, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything had already been removed! As for the scent, I find it quite pleasant.
ConsPerhaps because I have super sensitive skin, cleansing waters have always stung a bit, and this product isn't much different. It gives me a burning sensation, even to the point of slight pain and tingling. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for me to use regularly. (I guess cleansing creams are still the best fit for me...) If it gets into your eyes, it stings severely and really hurts. It's better to avoid using it around the eye area, trust me.

(This review is based on using the product for over a week!) 1. It left my skin feeling hydrated even after cleansing! Unlike some cleansing waters that can leave skin feeling tight, this one kept my skin feeling moisturized, which I loved! 2. It's almost fragrance-free! (This might vary for different people) As someone who enjoys scented products, I found this a bit disappointing. However, it's typical of Physiogel's unscented formula, so I didn't mind using it. I'd highly recommend this to those with fragrance sensitivities! 3. The ingredients are quite gentle! The formula is so mild that it should work well for most people, except perhaps those with extremely sensitive skin. 4. The cleansing effectiveness is above average! This should work well for those who don't wear heavy makeup (It should remove light makeup completely!)
Cons1. The cleansing power is slightly lacking As mentioned above, while it's above average, it struggles with waterproof products. Mascara and lip tint stains either don't come off completely or require excessive rubbing, leaving patchy remnants. 2. It caused significant eye irritation When I used it to remove eye makeup by soaking a cotton pad and placing it on my eyes, it stung and irritated them quite badly. 3. Value for money The price seemed reasonable at first, but upon use, I found the dispenser hole too large. This made it difficult to control the amount dispensed, often wasting product.
TipI highly recommend this for those who don't wear heavy makeup! It's great for removing the slight oiliness that develops in the morning before applying makeup. Your makeup will go on beautifully after using this!

With my super sensitive skin, I was curious to see how helpful it would be. After consistent use, here are the main advantages I found: 1. Effective cleansing power Although I usually wear light makeup without mascara, I deliberately applied heavier makeup to test this product. It effectively removed makeup from my skin, eyebrows, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lips. I was quite satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness. 2. Refreshing finish Unlike some cleansing waters that can leave an oily residue or a stuffy feeling, this one left my skin feeling refreshingly clean. There was no uncomfortable tightness, and I barely noticed any oiliness. 3. Well-designed dispenser The dispenser is really practical. It doesn't dispense too much product at once, making it easy to control the amount. It dispenses just the right amount to saturate a cotton pad, which I found very convenient.
ConsHowever, there were some drawbacks: 1. Eye irritation When I tried to remove eye makeup by gently pressing the cotton pad on my eyes, it stung quite badly. My eyes started watering, and the stinging persisted. Even after rinsing with water and trying again, the irritation remained. It was slightly less uncomfortable if I removed the makeup quickly, but overall, it was very irritating to the eye area. 2. Limited cleansing power As mentioned earlier, while it removes most makeup well, it struggles with mascara. This means you'll need a separate product for mascara removal, which is a bit inconvenient. 3. Questionable benefits for sensitive skin Although this product claims to be suitable for sensitive skin, I didn't notice any particular benefits in that regard. It didn't seem especially good for sensitive skin types. 4. Price to volume ratio The amount of product you get for the price is disappointing. Cleansing waters tend to run out quickly with regular use, and I found this aspect particularly unsatisfactory.
TipSince it removes most makeup except mascara, you could use a mascara-specific remover alongside this product. However, I wouldn't recommend it for the eye area. While some stinging is common when removing eye makeup, this was excessive - it made my eyes water so much that I worried about potential damage from continued use. Instead, I'd suggest using it for removing makeup from your skin, eyebrows, and lips. For the delicate eye area, it might be better to use a gentler, specialized eye makeup remover.

I typically use them for a first cleanse before washing my face. I've tried various brands (from major cosmetic companies to niche ones), so I have experience with what works for my dry/combination skin. When I heard The Hwahae Testers were offering a chance to try Physiogel's new cleansing water for sensitive skin, I jumped at the opportunity! I was thrilled to be selected and used it daily with gratitude. The formula is gentle and light - almost water-like in its consistency. This suggests it's free from potentially irritating ingredients. Despite its mildness, it cleanses quite effectively (though it won't remove waterproof mascara without oil). It contains glycerin, which likely contributes to its non-drying finish. My skin felt refreshed without any tightness or residue. While I'll continue using it to see long-term effects, I'm very satisfied so far and appreciate this product.
ConsIf you don't wear heavy eye makeup, you might find this product flawless. However, it struggles with removing mascara (though it handles eyeshadow and long-lasting lip tints well). It seems this gentle formula can't quite tackle waterproof mascaras. Also, when I tried to remove eye makeup by pressing gently, my eyes stung quite a bit. I definitely need to be careful around the eye area - I'm not willing to risk my eyesight!
TipThis product would be perfect for those who don't use waterproof eye makeup! Note: This review is based on a product received through The Hwahae Testers program via Hwahae.
