It absorbs beautifully and the color is gorgeous. My lips are usually dry, so I can never use matte tints, but this one doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much, so I used it frequently. I finished the whole tube - it's my holy grail! It transfers very slightly onto masks. There's also a bit of smudging. Apply it in thin layers for the prettiest color and minimal smudging. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSep 4, 2021
Even after years... it's still one of my go-to tints that I absolutely adore It seems to cause a bit of dead skin cells and has some transfer issues, unfortunately - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2021
This was fantastic for warm skin tones! It works beautifully as a base and also as a highlight. Really versatile! It might not be the best match for cool skin tones. I was a bit disappointed by how easily it transfers. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2020
It applies with a refreshing feel, which is great, and once it absorbs, it sets beautifully. It complements deep undertones really well, creating a lovely match. There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to pick something, it tends to transfer onto masks quite easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 10, 2020
As soon as I opened it and applied it, the fragrance...! Is that peach? I was surprised because I've never encountered such a pleasant scent in a tint before! And above all, as someone who always goes for matte finishes, I was completely satisfied. It seems to transfer a bit easily. It also tends to fade slightly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 26, 2020
As someone with warm undertones, this product is perfect for me. It's great for everyday use, especially when heading to school. There weren't really any downsides, but if I had to nitpick, it does transfer a bit when wearing a mask. Pro tip: Instead of applying it heavily all over, try a gradient application for a more flattering look. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2020
The color is a beautiful orange-brown that instantly reminds you of autumn I experienced some transfer issues. It wasn't just me, right? Also, it tended to accentuate dead skin cells a bit I'd recommend this more for those with warm undertones rather than cool! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 17, 2020
Color: This is truly my ultimate shade! It's like a muted orange-brown? Not an in-your-face 'I'm orange!' color, but more of an orange-red or tomato red (are those the same? Haha). If you love these shades, you'll adore this. Think 50% orange, 35% red, and 15% brown. The tone isn't so muted that it's only suitable for fall - it's versatile enough for year-round wear. Scent: This might be divisive for many. It seems they've either reformulated or added a new fragrance. It reminds me of that wow gum with a plum flavor? There's also a hint of peach iced tea, and thankfully, the old rubber scent is gone! Texture: It's in that sweet spot between matte and velvet - not too dry, not too slippery. Just right. While it's called matte, it's more of a 'merciful matte' that doesn't torture your lips. The staying power and adherence are above average. The color stains your lips naturally, so even as it wears off, the stain makes it seem like it's lasting longer. Plus, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells, which is great. There's a bit of transfer if you apply it thickly. But honestly, that's the only downside I can think of. This isn't exactly a pro tip, but... I wonder if they've changed the formula? Comparing this to my old one, the previous version felt more moisturizing when applying, and the color was more sheer with a slight rubber-like coating. It could sometimes apply patchily if you weren't careful. This new one (whether it's just this shade or all of them, I'm not sure) feels like it's transitioning from slightly matte to velvet. The staying power and adherence seem improved too. (This could vary by shade.) If they have indeed changed it, I personally love this new formula. It's not overly drying, nor is it a slippery velvet tint. It feels light yet adheres well to the lips. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 28, 2020
This little gem was an overall satisfying product! Let me dive right into the review, shall we? ♥️ Color Romand really knows how to craft tints. The shade is a brick orange that's absolutely perfect for warm-toned beauties! Though I must say, it's a tad darker than I expected. ♥️ Staying Power The packaging boasted about its longevity, so I thought, 'Alright, let's see how long you can last!' And boy, did it deliver! ♥️ Dead Skin Cells I'm not sure if it's because I applied a smidge of Vaseline beforehand, but there was no emphasis on dead skin cells! However, when applied to bare lips, there was a slight accentuation... (Hey, this is supposed to be the positives section!) ♥️ Packaging Wow... I've never been so smitten with packaging before. When I first saw this tint, I wanted it just for the case, regardless of the color! The transparent applicator was also a beautiful touch. ♥️ Adherence It adheres wonderfully to the lips. Once applied, you can feel it snugly hugging your lips. ♥️ Amount Control Unlike other tints where I'd have to wipe off excess product even after controlling the amount at the opening, this one has a flat tip that makes amount control a breeze! ♥️ Scent It had a peachy milk(?) scent. Quite different from what you'd expect based on the color, but delightfully fragrant! 💔 Blending When trying to blend with your fingers, about half the product ends up on them instead of your lips... So you have to keep reapplying and blending, reapplying and blending... in an endless cycle until it's finally on properly. 💔 Transfer While not terribly severe, there is some transfer... Applying multiple thin layers improves adherence! Applying a bit of Vaseline or lip balm beforehand (but not too much!) prevents dead skin cell accentuation. If you're not a fan of darker shades, try applying a touch of foundation or concealer before the tint! The first photo shows it applied over concealer, while the second is just the tint on its own. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 6, 2019
I absolutely love the texture of this product! It applies so smoothly and feels incredibly moisturizing. You can easily create a beautiful gradient effect. I was amazed at how well it applies even with a quick swipe. The color develops naturally, just like your own lip color. It combines the hydrating feel of a water tint with the soft, velvety texture of a blurred tint. The packaging is quite nice too - you can clearly see the color, though it's a bit on the heavy side. As for the scent, I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so it doesn't bother me at all. 1. The actual color is quite different from what's shown on the official website. It's supposed to be a brick shade, but it leans more towards orange. The staining effect reminds me of kimchi juice, which doesn't suit me at all. If you're a fan of orange tones, you might like it though. Rom&nd, please make your swatches more true to life! I might consider trying other shades. 2. It tends to transfer. It seems like only a light layer of color adheres well to the lips. If you try to build it up for a more intense look, it starts to feel like it's just sitting on top of your lips rather than blending in. I found that gently patting it in with your fingertips works better for application.
