The scent doesn't last very long on its own. For a more lasting fragrance, it's best to use it alongside a body emulsion, body cream, or mist.

I've been using White Musk body wash on and off since my 20s, and it's definitely the best among white musk scents. The lingering fragrance is absolutely delightful. I find myself reaching for it especially often during summer.

The foam doesn't lather well with small amounts, and it's not a dense, rich type but rather light and airy.

Its effects on hydration, soothing, and exfoliating dead skin cells are somewhat ambiguous. It might be best used primarily for its fragrance.

Compared to musk scents from other brands that oddly had a nutty, rich aroma like peanuts or almonds, which made me nauseous and uncomfortable to use in summer, this one seems to have been reformulated. The overly rich scent has been toned down, replaced by a slightly powdery musk fragrance that I really enjoy.

The lather has also become more luxurious than before.

As someone with atopic skin that gets itchy when damp, I prefer products that feel fresh even if they're a bit drying. I loved that this cleanser left no residue or slippery feeling.
