Pros: This eye liner has a subtle, non-vibrant color that can be worn daily. Especially for those with warm skin tones, this liner will likely be a frequent go-to! The color is so beautifully understated that even I, with a cool skin tone, have worn it often.

Cons: As expected, the staying power is a bit disappointing... After using Stila, the shimmer in this Etude House liner felt too heavy, so I switched. The color is subtle but the lasting power is really lacking... 😢 If applied in the morning, the shimmer will have faded by the afternoon and there won't be much left. 😢 Especially for those with oily skin, the lasting power will likely be an issue!

The gold-colored pearl blends well with my skin tone. The gold-colored pearl doesn't clash with my skin tone, but rather complements it beautifully! I've seen other versions of this product that have a shimmery silver color, like a sardine, but those would require just a dab or two as an accent. The Tears of the Sun, on the other hand, can be applied all over the eye area and harmonizes perfectly with my skin tone, looking so pretty*-* It sparkles wonderfully, and the color is just what I love! The applicator is like a nail polish brush, making it easy to apply. The application is smooth and effortless, like using a nail polish brush. It's very small and thin, so I can apply it all over without feeling weighed down. If it seems a bit too much, I can just dab a little less. It applies very smoothly!
Cons
The staying power is poor and it wipes off easily. Even after just one cleansing with a cleansing gel, it wipes off completely! It's good for cleansing, but the trade-off is that the staying power is low, and it tends to smear. If I'm going out for gatherings or to a water park, touch-ups will be essential! Using a setting spray might help keep it in place better.

I try to use makeup products with as few harmful ingredients as possible, and this tear liner is just wonderful.
