1. Longevity
The staying power and adherence leave much to be desired. It disappears almost as soon as it touches your lips. That's somewhat unavoidable with a glossy formula, though.

2. Transfer
It transfers terribly onto masks, making it a challenging product to use during these COVID times. It also tends to smudge onto teeth, requiring frequent mirror checks. Please keep this in mind!

This is the YSL Rouge Volupté Shine in shade 83 Rouge Cape. I have a deep autumn skin tone in the 22-23 range.

1. Color
It's a warm, dark red that's perfect for this season. It's an absolute dream for those with deep autumn (dark) skin tones. While it appears a bit lighter in photos, it's actually slightly darker in person. That said, the color isn't muddy at all. The glossy formula makes it look clear and vibrant on the lips. I highly recommend this for those who are prone to looking sallow. No ashy undertones here! Just note that it does deepen over time.

2. Moisturizing Formula
With its glossy texture, this is ideal for those with dry lips or who struggle with dead skin cells. It's the perfect moisturizing formula for the dry season.

3. Packaging
The packaging is truly luxurious. There's an YSL engraving in the center, and overall, it's a design that beautifully decorates any makeup pouch, which is why I've included it as a plus.

As it applies so softly and sheerly, you should expect the staying power to be almost non-existent.

The red color has tiny sparkles in it, and it applies smoothly with a soft, sheer finish that looks beautiful.

The official website says it has a mango scent, but personally, I detected more of a cucumber smell, which was disappointing.

The packaging is so luxurious, and it absorbs beautifully with a lovely moisturizing feel. I think there's also a subtle shimmer to it.

The point is that you have to apply it carefully? If you apply it incorrectly, it can end up only on the edges of your lips, and you have to be a bit careful with the formula.
You should apply it thickly from the inner part of your lips outward to get a nice, even application.
Like any lipstick, it does tend to be quite dependent on the condition of your lips.

It might feel too oily for those who dislike applying lip balm due to the greasy feeling

The price is a bit steep, but even considering that, this is a product I'd want to repurchase. Don't hesitate, just go for it! You won't regret it.

But strangely, whenever I use this, something comes up on my chin...
When I stopped using it, the issue went away, so I think it's because of this product.
