The basic type of the Rio Wax Pomade has a decent setting power, better than the pink one. The scent is also quite pleasant.
Cons
The setting power is slightly weaker than the pink one. It's better than the water-based one, but you need to restyle it frequently. The pink one may need restyling around 2 times a day, but this one requires around 4 times. However, if you restyle it, it goes back to the original state.
Tip
For this product, you can also massage the entire head with a cleansing oil and rinse with water to remove most of the oil. After that, just shampoo, and you're done.
