Use the cheapest cleansing oil you can find. Apply it to your hands 2-3 times, massage it thoroughly into your hair, then rinse with water. The emulsification will remove most of the grease. Follow up with shampoo for a completely oil-free result. Double shampooing can be harsh on the scalp and tedious, but this method is the most effective.

The strawberry scent might be hit or miss for some. While oil-based pomades are inherently harder to wash out, this one from Reuzel is the most difficult to remove among their products.

Among oil-based pomades, this one has the strongest hold. You can easily restyle it anytime with your hands or a comb. Even after wearing a motorcycle helmet, a few quick strokes with a comb will get it back in shape.
