Perhaps because it's richer than I thought, during the first few days of use, it felt like my blemishes were actually getting worse. I took a break for a few days and started using it again. Now it doesn't seem to be causing more blemishes, but it doesn't seem to be reducing them either. Apart from the soothing effect, I'm not sure about any other benefits. If you don't like products that feel sticky or oily, you might not enjoy this.

I bought this because I heard mugwort is good for soothing skin. Compared to other brands' mugwort essences, this one was heavily discounted, so I gave it a try. It definitely seems to have a calming effect. When I use BHA toner, my face feels a bit of a burning sensation, but applying this mugwort essence seems to soothe it. The heated feeling subsides. It's more rich than I expected - even one application leaves a slight oily feeling. For reference, I have oily skin.
