The hydrating formula is perfect for those with dry skin who've been searching for the right cushion foundation. It applies thinly and evenly, avoiding a cakey look while giving your complexion a natural glow. There's minimal settling into pores, and it doesn't darken over time (though I rarely experience oxidation with most products). The wide range of shades is a definite plus. The coverage is disappointingly sheer. While it's true that concealer is usually necessary for blemishes, this doesn't even do much for redness. The price is a bit steep, but the results are still quite pretty. It works perfectly when applied over a sunscreen that isn't too rich! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2020
Finishes with a semi-matte look that minimally transfers onto masks. It applies thinly while still providing decent coverage. The color isn't starkly divided between yellow and pink tones, resulting in a natural appearance. Impressive longevity. No real drawbacks except it might feel a bit dry due to its matte finish. Perfect as a summer cushion foundation. Works well when applied together with the Yves Saint Laurent hydrating primer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 1, 2020
It feels incredibly light and powdery with excellent staying power. It applies so thinly that you can achieve that porcelain skin look. I'm completely satisfied with it. Even after 10 hours, the way it fades is still pretty and acceptable. I usually prefer yellow-based foundations over pink-based ones, so I bought shade 25 which is yellow-based, since shade 30 was said to be pink-based. I've been using shade 25 in the original YSL cushion, so I bought it without thinking twice. But oh my, it's like I've done kabuki makeup! It's so pale... It feels more like shade 17... way too light. I really wish they'd release a yellow-based shade 35... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2020
It applies so beautifully, giving me a clear and radiant complexion that I'd swear it's my holy grail product, making my skin look like it did in my 20s. The adherence is the best I've experienced among all the products I've used. Its staying power is equally impressive, so I use it as a final step or carry it for touch-ups. The application is so fine and sturdy that even with all the mask-wearing these days, there's no breakdown when you take it off. While I can't use it as my main product, I plan to keep using it as a supplementary item. The coverage is too sheer, unfortunately. Having used high-coverage cushions before, this feels like it barely covers anything at all. Thanks to its excellent adherence, when used together with foundation, it enhances both coverage and staying power. This combo allows you to maintain beautiful skin from morning till night. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2020
The application is moisturizing and it adheres well to the skin. While I'm not sure about its blemish coverage, it does offer decent coverage overall. I switched from shade 30 to 25 this time, thinking it would be brighter, and shade 25 actually suits my complexion better. It can feel a bit dry as time passes. If you don't control the amount well, it might look thick, but overall, I'm satisfied with the product after use. There's not much darkening, and it even covers small pores to some extent. I tend to apply it thinly on areas prone to wrinkles, so I didn't notice significant settling into fine lines. First off, the price is a bit steep. While the matte case looks pretty, it's a fingerprint magnet, making it look messy. It's crucial to control the amount applied, otherwise it can look thick and emphasize pores and wrinkles. Controlling the amount is essential! Apply it thinly in multiple layers, gently patting it into the skin.
