  Pros

  1. A silk-slip texture that feels comfortable on the lips. 2. Smooth application without patchiness. The lipstick's balanced oil and moisture content that doesn't cling is definitely praiseworthy.

  1. The actual color of the product is unrecognizable unless you look at the bottom label. 2. The case's gradient color doesn't match the product inside. They claim to have categorized it into 3 colors with a 'color wave', but it's more confusing than helpful. 3. 'Silk-slip texture'... sounds pretty, but it's just a common moisturizing lipstick. Doesn't feel superior enough to justify the price. Honestly, the feel is too ordinary. 4. The classic MAC bullet lipstick problem: strong scent of the product. Personally, I strongly dislike it. It's not just chocolate, but an 'old cosmetics + chocolate' smell (quite intense). 5. Another classic MAC issue: excessive transfer. Given the formula, I expected some, but... MAC doesn't seem to improve transfer even in their matte lines. 6. The color looks like a mix of 'moody teen' and 'bruise'. It's really not attractive. 7. Ingredients... Shouldn't they update the formula with the changing times? They probably never will, since it still sells well even with over 10 cautionary ingredients.

  Photo tip: The picture looks much better than reality, honestly. The camera doesn't capture how dark Baited Breath really is. The actual color is as dark as the product inside. Moody teen + bruise = Baited Breath.
