ProsAmong the lip products I use, the texture is my favorite. It's not overly glossy, but has a nicely moisturized feel - kind of like the sheen you get after eating fried food and having a bit of oil on your lips. I can't really describe it any better than that.
But I do like that the lipstick isn't too soft, so it's easy to apply and doesn't settle into cracks or flakes. I'd love to try other shades as well.
Honestly, I just swatched the color on the back of my hand before buying, but with lipstick you really need to try it on your actual lips. On me, it has a slightly bright and cool-toned pink vibe, whereas the swatch on my hand looked more of a muted, true pink. But that works well for me - I can use it on its own or as a base.
I've been using it a lot as a daily lip product because I just love the formula so much. The signature MAC chocolate scent is great, and the packaging is pretty too, so I keep reaching for it.

ProsThis is a cool pink-purple color that works well for cool-toned summer skin tones! The color helps make the skin appear brighter and more radiant.
The MAC Retro Matte lipstick has a creamy, crayon-like texture, while the Love Me line feels a bit more moisturizing overall.

ProsI usually wear the always bright cherry pink color of the 17th summer Brightlip, but I wanted to try a more subdued color, so I purchased this. It applies smoothly and is a color I don't see often at the drugstore, so I treasure it. Above all, the case is so pretty that I carry it around frequently.
ConsWhile it doesn't completely adhere to my face with just one application, after about 3 applications, the purple-tinged color seems to build up nicely and suits me well.
