Among the moisturizing lipsticks I use, this one has the best texture by far! It's not excessively glossy, but rather gives a perfectly hydrated look... You know that subtle sheen your lips get after eating something slightly oily? That's the best way I can describe it. What I love is that the lipstick isn't too soft. It's easy to apply, and there's no issue with dead skin cells or patchiness, making it great for quick application. I'm tempted to buy more shades! To be honest, I only swatched it on my hand before buying, but lipsticks should really be tested on the lips. On me, it's a slightly bright, cool light pink... On my hand, it looked like a muted deep pink. But that versatility makes it great both on its own and as a base. It's perfect for daily use, so I'm using it often! I love MAC's signature chocolate scent, the beautiful design, and how easy it is to apply. I keep reaching for it! There are no downsides! The texture of the Love Me line is truly amazing.

The Love Me line feels generally more moisturizing compared to MAC's Retro Matte lipsticks, which can be a bit dry like crayons. That distinctive chocolate scent in MAC lipsticks... I always used to wear bright cherry pink shades, but I wanted to try a more subdued color, so I bought shade 17 Summer Bright. It applies smoothly and it's a unique color you don't often see in drugstores, making it one of my favorite lipsticks. Above all, the case is so pretty that I love carrying it around with me. It absorbs beautifully and the color payoff is definitely there. The staying power is impressive too. Above all, the shade is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing really. Although some people say it absorbs better than previous MAC lipsticks, I personally find it a bit drying after application.
