With the chilly weather lately, I've been experiencing flaky skin and itchiness along my jawline. I used to use Lancôme Rénergie or Génifique lines, but they seemed a bit lacking for my dry skin. So, I decided to splurge on this product (NZD $450) and give it a try. I used it generously along with the essence from the same line that I received as a sample. From day one, I noticed an improvement in my dry and itchy skin. While it takes some time to fully absorb, it really helps with the dryness and itchiness, leaving my skin feeling hydrated. Those without dry skin might find it a bit rich. The absorption time is a bit long, which can make your skin feel slightly greasy at first, but once it's absorbed, your skin feels wonderfully moisturized. I'm satisfied and using it happily.
ConsWhen first applied, it feels a bit greasy, and the absorption time is long. The price is also a bit steep, and after looking at the ingredients here, I'm a bit concerned.
TipEven after applying this, some areas still felt a bit dry. I found that using a mist (I use Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist) helps. Before bed, I spray it generously all over, gently pat it in, and by morning, my skin feels less dry and the itchiness is significantly reduced.
