Compared to other mid-range brand lipsticks, it was less prone to highlighting flaky skin, making it convenient to apply even without lip balm. I've often seen online that it's a go-to lip product for Summer Light skin tones. As someone with a Summer Cool tone myself, I felt this lipstick suited me well, and its natural color payoff made it a staple in my routine. I'd especially recommend this to those with Summer Cool skin who prefer lighter shades.
ConsWhen I left the lipstick in my pants pocket for a long time, it melted. While most other brand lipsticks maintain their shape even after being in a pocket for a while, this License to Love lip seemed particularly vulnerable to heat. As a result, even though I've only used about a third of it, the NARS logo engraved on the lipstick has melted, making it look less pristine. If you're someone who likes to keep your lipsticks in perfect condition, you'll need to be extra careful with storage and maintenance.
