It's great for applying lightly to areas with blemishes or signs of breakouts. You can definitely see it calming the skin when applied, so it's quite effective. Being portable, I keep it in my makeup pouch and use it frequently. It's especially good for rolling on spots that are difficult to apply blemish patches to, like around the nose. The rolling ball glides smoothly and feels cool upon application. The scent, which seems to be a blend of menthol and herbs, is pleasant and not off-putting. It lasts longer than expected, making it one of the products I'm satisfied with at this price point. The glass bottle might break if dropped, and with prolonged use, the paint on the bottle tends to chip off like it has now. - ji******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 30, 2024
I'm a huge fan of Filorga! I lived in France for a while, and French esthetics are incredibly expensive. My parents let me try it just once, and guess what? The esthetician used Filorga! I had some blemishes at the time, so they applied Nutri-Dome and did a few other things. When I left, they handed me this product. Since then, whenever I get a breakout, I apply this, and it works wonders - my skin clears up like magic! When it comes to blemishes, Filorga is my go-to. While it might not work for everyone, this and Nutri-Dome are my top picks for treating blemishes. You might not believe it, but I've already gone through 21 bottles of this stuff! I've been using it for 6 years now, ever since I lived abroad. In a nutshell: Blemishes? They vanish! (It works great for me, though results may vary) It stings so much, I can't even describe it. Especially when your skin barrier is compromised, applying this without knowing can be excruciating. It's like pressing an alcohol swab on an open wound, or applying iodine to a sore in your mouth. It's seriously painful. However... I saw results right away. The official website claims it only stings on troubled areas and feels cool elsewhere, but that's not true for me. Maybe it's because my skin barrier is always compromised, or perhaps I applied it after cleansing too vigorously. Oh, and the roll-on? It's good, but sometimes it dispenses way too much product. I'm always worried it might get in my eyes when I apply it to my forehead. In short: It stings so much, please save me! There are various ways to use this product, and it seems most people use it for spot treatment. My tip this time is about the price! I've never bought this product for more than 10,000 won. Filorga has sales quite often, so keep an eye on their official website. Once you do, their algorithm will catch on, and you'll start seeing ads while scrolling through Instagram stories. They sometimes sell it for around 7,000 won per bottle - that's when you should buy it. There's usually a limit on how many you can purchase, so buy as many as you can. I've bought 2 or 3 at a time, and even asked family members to buy some for me. Before you know it, there's another sale. I've seen Filorga sales 4 times this year alone and bought it 3 times due to the SOS quantity limit. During Black Friday, buy Nutri-Dome instead of this one. Nutri-Dome rarely goes on sale. Filorga occasionally has 'secret links' where they sell for 7,000-8,000 won, but Nutri-Dome never does. The main difference between the two is that while the ingredients are the same, the concentrations differ. So, it's best to compare regular prices, ad link prices, and sale prices before making a purchase. - ki*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2024
While it didn't work for me personally, I think this product could be really effective for those whose skin agrees with it... (just not mine) I bought this hoping for soothing effects, but it actually irritated my skin, possibly due to high concentrations of ingredients. My skin turned red and I didn't notice any benefits. Also, the glass packaging makes me nervous about breakage... - ta*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 18, 2024
It's less irritating than tea tree, which is great. I highly recommend it! The roll-on applicator feels unhygienic every time I use it. Even though I'm the only one using it, it still bothers me. - sh*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 7, 2024
First off, I started getting blemishes around my chin area in late 2021 after COVID hit. I thought it was due to wearing masks, but they kept increasing. These weren't pus-filled, but inflammatory - they hurt deep under the skin without coming to a head or disappearing, leaving my skin in chaos with scars. This continued non-stop until June 2024. I used to have great skin and was confident going bare-faced, but it got to the point where I didn't want to step out even for a moment without makeup. It was driving me crazy! Every doctor had a different diagnosis. Neither oral nor topical medications had any effect. Even blood tests showed nothing wrong with my body. At this point, I wondered if it might be severe folliculitis, but no doctor diagnosed it as such. When I asked, they said it didn't seem like folliculitis. However, after using this product, I think it might have been folliculitis after all. I stumbled upon this product through an Instagram ad and, during a sale, I was almost hypnotized into buying 3 bottles. I'm usually not the type to buy things, especially cosmetics, based on social media ads. I received it the very next day, as fast as rocket delivery. I applied it to the troubled areas more than 10 times a day without fail. I just kept it under my pillow and applied it whenever my face felt itchy or when I thought about it. I used up an entire bottle in just two weeks, that's how much I applied. Amazingly, my blemishes started calming down just two days after I started using it. In five days, they had completely subsided. I'm not exaggerating! For a month, I didn't just apply it to my chin - I practically marinated in it. After a month, when I got a bit lazy with application and felt like something might be coming up, I'd apply it again. It's great how it immediately calms and reduces the blemishes. The itchiness has almost completely disappeared, but I still apply it whenever I feel a slight itch, even if nothing's visible. Looking at the ingredients, I found out it's made with natural materials. They say it contains natural alcohol, so I felt comfortable using it. The downside is that the scent is quite strong, and the alcohol smell is intense. It can be a bit overwhelming when the fragrance hits your nose. I tossed one to my sister, who also has a lot of blemishes, to try. She loved it so much that we both bought another 3 bottles each during the next sale. When it's on sale for 7,000 won, the price isn't burdensome at all. For those with severe folliculitis, apply it over a wider area than just the affected parts. I applied it extensively, worried that if I only put it on the folliculitis spots, the 'bugs' might escape to other areas. If you're on the fence, I'd recommend giving it a try during a sale period. You might be pleasantly surprised! - ar*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2024
It's effective at calming down blemishes. The roll-on applicator makes it fairly convenient to use. When it's not on sale, the price is incredibly high, so never buy it at full price... - 08****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2024
It's effective whether you apply it before or after squeezing blemishes It's pricey, but the results are undeniable. It's great to have one on hand during summer - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMar 29, 2024
The roll-on applicator made it easy to apply. It has a pleasant scent and its small size is perfect for carrying around and reapplying throughout the day. It seems to provide decent soothing effects as well. The glass... it's glass, but extremely thin. I dropped it on a soft floor mat and it shattered into pieces. I was carrying it to apply frequently on days when I had blemishes, but now I'm left with a major disappointment. The price is also quite disappointing. I think Naturoderm has better soothing effects, so I'll be buying that instead. - mi******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 11, 2024
It's absolutely fantastic! I bought it because it was on special offer recently. I'm thrilled that my skin calmed down the very next day. I think it might cause blemishes if used with other more intense toners. Sadly, it seems I'll have to use this one on its own. - dn******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsNov 16, 2023
As someone with acne-prone, sensitive skin and small bumps, I tried this product due to its reputation for blemish control. The application is smooth - its watery texture feels clean and it's easy to apply. The compact size makes it convenient to carry around. The scent reminds me of traditional herbal medicine, which isn't unpleasant and somehow makes me believe it'll be effective. While I usually prefer colorless products, the green tint gives a healing vibe that inspires confidence. The price is quite steep, but the small size means I can use it up before it expires. I experienced no irritation - it felt just like a regular toner. However, the lack of irritation also meant a lack of noticeable effects. Eventually, I found myself applying it just to not waste money. While effects can vary from person to person, the price point is too high to justify experimenting with this product. I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, but now I'm wondering how to use up the extra. It might be worth considering if you can catch it on sale.
