First off, I was impressed by the generous 100ml size for a moisturizer. Despite being a cica cream, its gel-like texture made it easy to apply. My eye area is particularly sensitive, but I didn't experience any rashes or irritation.
ConsOn its own, it feels slightly drying, so you need to add a serum. The shea butter content makes it a bit heavy, and over time, it becomes quite oily. The greasiness made me feel like my pores were getting clogged, and I started noticing small blemishes appearing, so I had to stop using it. My skin texture became uneven and slightly bumpy, suggesting this cream isn't the right fit for me.

It's not extremely dry, but I've found that many moisturizers just sit on top without penetrating deeply, even when I sleep with them on. However, I won this product in an event and tried it out - it's really good! The absorption is super smooth, and it feels like it wraps around my skin nicely. It's neither thick nor gel-like, but has this effortless gliding sensation when applied. After my morning workout when my skin is still warm, and during seasonal changes when my skin gets super sensitive, this keeps me feeling comfortably hydrated.
ConsWell... to be completely honest, it does feel a bit tight after it's fully absorbed. The hydration doesn't last very long, and it feels like it's sitting slightly on top of the skin. On the bright side, my pores were wide open, haha!

It got me thinking - could it work well with my go-to Acnetin cream? That's what piqued my interest in trying this cream! (Though after using it, I'm not sure if it's truly the ultimate duo...) ✔️ First off, as someone with very dry skin, I didn't find it quite moisturizing enough on its own. It's both a pro and a con that the texture is low in oil but high in hydration! If you have extremely dry skin like me, you might find it lacking in moisture when used alone. I'd recommend pairing it with an oil or another cream. (It might be perfect for those with oily skin looking for a hydration boost.) In a nutshell, it's more of a refreshing 'hydrating cream' than a rich moisturizer! For reference, I didn't use it in the morning, but at night I'd layer it like this: 'Toner - Zeroid Cream - Deharnal Cream + Acnetin Cream' or 'Toner - Oil - Zeroid Cream - Deharnal Cream' ✔️ Absorbs well and leaves skin feeling hydrated! ✔️ Fragrance-free with gentle ingredients
Cons✔️ While it's supposed to be good for blemish-prone skin, I didn't notice any significant difference, unfortunately. ✔️ I've heard that shea butter can potentially clog pores, so I avoided applying it to my nose area.
TipSince this cream isn't exactly budget-friendly, it might be worth keeping an eye out for buy-one-get-one-free deals! (They don't happen often, but apparently, they do pop up from time to time.)

ConsMilia appeared....it seems to be because of the pore-clogging shea butter...

I was tricked ㅜㅠ I think I mistakenly thought that the stuffy feeling I felt at first, which was like a moisturizing film, was actually a moisturizing cream.
ConsI bought it based on recommendations from a Naver cafe. I knew it had pore-clogging ingredients, but I thought it would work for me... but sure enough, I started getting pimples. (Even before using this cream, I already had severe acne and seborrheic dermatitis, so my hair touching my face would make me itch terribly, so I thought the acne was a secondary issue and just focused on the itchiness and moisturizing.) I tried the renewed Cicaaid Balm first, but it seemed a bit oily, and there were a lot of reviews saying the pre-renewal version was much better, so I found and tried the pre-renewal Cicamide Cream, and it was definitely better than the renewed version. But the acne is still the same. In the beginning, it seemed to soothe my skin, so I used it for over a year. But after a year, my skin got even more itchy and worse than before. I didn't know the cream was the problem, so I added an ampoule, changed my toner, and even tried the Physiogel cream to balance the oil and moisture, but... Turns out, the centella and ceramide didn't agree with me. I only recently found this out. It was so unbearably painful that I persisted with the Cicamide Cream until the end, and then through the Hwahae app, I tested creams without ceramide or centella (creams without any of the bad pore-clogging ingredients). And that's how I found out that ceramide and centella didn't work for me!!! That specific film-like, stuffy feeling - I mistakenly thought that was good moisturizing for over a year.

It's similar to the texture of typical centella products. The application is not bad. The fragrance is subtle, like that of herbs or plants, which is nice. I first used it in the final step of my routine for 3-4 days, and I did feel some dryness, but I didn't experience any breakouts or other issues, which was surprising. Later, I applied a centella cream and then layered on my regular moisturizer twice as much, and in the morning, my skin felt as hydrated as after using an overnight mask. I've used about half the product so far, and while there's no particularly remarkable reason to use it, there's also no reason not to. It seems to be a very well-rounded product. It hasn't dramatically improved my skin texture or strengthened my skin barrier, but I do want to try a couple more tubes of it. It seems to provide some help in repairing damaged skin. It's a product I make sure to apply when my skin has been exposed to cold, harsh winds, and I feel like it's been beneficial in those situations, even if the improvements aren't obvious.
ConsThe rich texture means you need to use quite a lot to get satisfactory coverage. Even when using a generous amount, it doesn't feel as hydrating as more moisturizing products. While it claims to provide 48-hour hydration, the reality is it only lasts about 10 minutes, which is still better than the Real Barrier product I tried. Using it alone, I could feel dryness when cleansing in the morning. Early on, I also noticed some pore enlargement. When my skin is lacking in moisture, it has a shiny surface but feels tight underneath, and that's exactly the sensation I experienced with this product. In conclusion, it's difficult to expect the advertised benefits like strengthening the skin barrier or improving wrinkles, but if you're interested, it may be worth trying.
TipIf you're someone who is prone to dryness, be sure to layer on an additional moisturizer... Even though I have oily skin, I still experienced dryness.
