1. The amount gets used up faster than expected
- Even though I applied it with a puff, the amount seemed to get used up faster than I expected, and I was like, 'Huh?' haha

2. It can get dry if your skincare is lacking
- That's why I apply a hydrating foundation on top.

1. The color is beautiful
- I prefer a neutral tone around shade 22, and I used to use a shell color, but the porcelain color is really pretty!
It makes me look radiant without being too much.

2. It's easy to apply
- When I was searching before buying, I saw that it's best to apply with a puff, so I swiped it on 2-3 times with a square puff and it was easy to apply~
I'm all thumbs 🥲 and it wasn't easy for me to apply foundation with a brush, but this saved time and made it much easier to control the amount.

3. Good coverage and lasting power
- After applying a moisturizing sunscreen, I didn't feel dry when I put this on.
Even though I have an oily T-zone 😥, after about 4-5 hours, only my forehead and nose got a bit shiny.
(This is without powder!)
It lasted even longer when I used a primer or a matte sunscreen.

Since it's a stick, you need to blend it out thoroughly. The amount dispensed is quite visible. For very fair skin tones, the muted tone might even appear a bit dark.

I had stopped using the stick foundation for a while as I found it to be quite heavy, but it now applies lightly and thinly.
The coverage is medium-to-high, and it's easy to build up on blemished areas.
It spreads evenly and works well with various application tools.
The shades have a soft, luminous tone, and even the 21st shade doesn't appear too stark.

 I'd recommend a lovely foundation to those who want one.

 There are many disappointing aspects.

1. Packaging. The exterior is smooth and dark in color, so it may look neat in photos, but it is difficult to store neatly. Even after wiping it clean, something seems to leave stains.

2. Coverage. It has better coverage than regular liquid foundations. However, it has less coverage than long-wear or regular stick foundations. It may not be suitable for those with a lot of blemishes.

3. Texture. It applies thickly. This is because, compared to other stick foundations, it is more moisturizing, so the stick itself crumbles easily. It also transfers a lot onto the skin. The thick feeling is very prominent, and even if applied well, the transfer is severe.

4. It melts when warm. It melts inside the package. I just left it in a warm indoor environment, not even in hot tea, and it became messy. It also melts on the skin if there is a lot of body heat. It's not that the makeup is disappearing, but rather that my makeup has melted away.

5. The amount is terrible. As you can see in the photo, it costs around 60,000 won, but the product amount is just the size of a fingertip. There may be a rebuttal that all stick foundations are like that, but as mentioned above, it crumbles easily and transfers a lot onto the skin. Yet, it's just the size of a fingertip. Overall, I'm not very satisfied, so I didn't use it much (I mainly used other foundations and only used this when I wanted to use a concealer), and about 2/5 of it is gone. The cost-effectiveness is poor. The first photo was taken when it was just delivered, and I shared it with my friends, saying it looked so pretty, and they asked to see the amount, so I took that photo.

 After reading various blog posts and reviews, and seeing that Hourglass was launched at Shinsegae, I decided to purchase it. I use shade 21, which is a beige neutral tone for my slightly fair and bright skin tone! Pink-based foundations really don't suit me, and I generally find that neutral-based foundations work best for me.

The Hourglass Porcelain color is not pink-based - it would be categorized as a very light yellow-based or neutral-based foundation.

The advantages of the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick are:

1. Packaging. The packaging is beautiful. When I first opened the box, I was surprised by how it looks like a large lipstick, with a sleek triangular shape and smooth body. I think it would be great to use for travel or when going to the office, as it can fit nicely in a makeup pouch.

2. Coverage. The coverage is medium to high, compared to regular foundations. It covers light pigmentation well.

3. Moisturizing. It is less matte than other stick foundations.
