I have combination skin leaning towards dry, so I mix it with jojoba oil. It seems to work well for cooling down the skin. I don't think this would suit those with oily skin types. - al*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2025
It's so hydrating! After applying, it really locks in moisture. That's why I always use it as part of my basic skincare routine. It takes a bit longer to absorb... so it adds some time to my morning routine. It's a reliable product that doesn't cause any blemishes, which I really appreciate! I plan to keep using it in the future. The quantity is generous, making it an excellent value for money. While the visual appearance made me think it might be greasy, it actually absorbs well and leaves a clean finish, which I really liked. Personally, I found it too drying when used alone, and I had to stop using it because it kept causing small bumps to appear. If it weren't for the bumps, I would have continued using it since I prefer this type of formula. It's a shame.

Great for adding hydration. Applying 1-2 layers right after washing my face leaves it feeling moisturized. Following up with the Madagascar moisturizer is perfection! I love that it doesn't trigger blemishes. I wish it were more affordable. It would be nice if there were bigger discounts for buying multiple bottles. Absorbs quickly, feels light and refreshing. Perfect for use as a watery toner. I intended to use this as an ampoule instead of a toner, but found it lacking in hydration. While it feels nice during application, once absorbed it's too lightweight and my skin quickly becomes dry. I've been struggling with seborrheic dermatitis and tiny bumps for over a year, but after using this for just a few days, I can see it calming down... I've tried all sorts of creams and ointments, but waking up to red bumps every morning was so frustrating and stressful. The soothing effect of this product is truly outstanding. My skin type is dry. I've tried various ampoules and essences from Sidmool, but I found the Allantoin Ampoule particularly effective for its hydration longevity and skin texture improvement. It feels lightweight while combating dryness, and after a few days, I noticed a glow that I hadn't seen before. Even when my skin was irritated, applying a generous amount of the Allantoin Ampoule seemed to calm it down faster than usual. It doesn't seem to address the underlying dryness completely. However, this seems to be the case with other ampoules and essences as well. I carry the Allantoin Ampoule in my bag and apply it whenever my skin feels dry. It's important to follow up with a moisturizer after using the ampoule to lock in the hydration.
