  I've been dying to try the Houttuynia Cordata ampoule, and I finally splurged my points to get it! ✔️Value for money At 100ml, it's really generous. Compared to other brand toners these days, it doesn't seem expensive! (Of course, I'm talking about the Hwahae discounted price, not the original cost!) ✔️Ingredients I always scrutinize ingredients since I have super sensitive skin, but this one's gentle with nothing problematic, so I'm using it worry-free. ✔️Houttuynia Cordata I've used the same brand's Houttuynia Cordata toner before, and it was mild and hydrating. I've wanted to use Houttuynia Cordata products for my blemishes, but they're often pricey or come in small quantities. This one lets me care for my blemishes without breaking the bank, so I'm satisfied. ✔️Texture After using watery formulas all the time, it's nice to switch to a slightly thicker ampoule. The finish is great too - it doesn't just sit on top of the skin, which I love. However, as I mentioned below, it does take a bit of time to absorb.

  👉Absorption It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't absorb as quickly as I'd hoped... It's slightly slippery when applying, and takes time to sink in. So it's not ideal if you're in a rush with your skincare routine. But if you pat it in, it's not too bad! 👉Blemishes I haven't used it for long, but I haven't seen any dramatic effects on blemishes yet. I actually got a small pimple on my cheek after using this, but it coincided with my period, so it's hard to say... I'll need to use it longer, focusing on my forehead where I have some blemishes! + After a few weeks, still no noticeable effects.
