The essence was a bit watery and had a light lotion-like texture!! But it was super moisturizing and had great adherence, so I really liked using it in the winter!!! For oily skin types, it might be a bit heavy in the summer, so I'd recommend it for fall and winter. The ingredients were great, so I liked having it on hand to use whenever I needed it.
