The fine bubbles penetrate the skin's surface, giving it a sheen. However, this sheen isn't from added hydration, but rather from the slippery foam that feels like it hasn't been fully rinsed off. I had high hopes for this product, as it claimed to provide hydration for combination dehydrated skin and reduce heat sensitivity for super sensitive skin. But from the second day of use, my entire face started itching. I ended up having to wash my face again, apply my usual products, and take allergy medication to alleviate the itching. Even though I first tried the yellow toner for sensitive skin that came with the blue toner I purchased, I'm now too scared to use the blue one after this experience. All the online reviews were glowing, so I feel like I fell for the advertising. I should have checked Hwahae earlier. The ingredients aren't good, and it was truly harmful for my sensitive and thin skin. It's upsetting that all my skincare efforts were ruined in just one day.
