ConsThe pore-blocking ingredients completely clogged my pores ใ It was fine until the next morning, so I used it one more time. That evening, Everything went crazy ใ ใ ใ ใ Whiteheads and blackheads covered my face ใ ใ It's a disaster, really ใ ใ ใ People who usually have their face turn over when they're tired usually don't get along with pore-blocking ingredients? Don't use it ใ

My cheeks are severely dehydrated, with peeling and tightness after cleansing. I've been struggling with cystic acne on both cheeks for a week now. ใ .ใ โUsage Experience: This is a very dense and heavy cream. When applied, it initially has a thick, white, hand cream-like texture, but it absorbs quickly. Despite the oily feel, it provided substantial hydration.
ConsI think this product may not have been the best match for my skin. To be honest, I was a bit worried about it clogging my pores even before using it, and sure enough, small bumps started appearing the very next day. Fearing it would worsen into cystic acne, I immediately stopped using it. The hydration was good, but it just didn't seem to agree with my skin.

As we enter the seasonal change, my skin has completely flipped, and I've been dealing with a lot of stress from the acne and blemishes covering my skin. I was glad to receive this product. However, there are some ingredients that don't agree with my oily skin, so I'm a bit worried. โ Skin Type: Oily / Skin flipped due to seasonal changes / Extremely sensitive / Acne-prone / Used to work well with most skincare before the flip / T-zone gets extremely oily even with basic products โ Usage Experience: True to the name 'barrier cream', it feels very rich and heavy on my oily skin. The absorption is slow, and it leaves a stuffy feeling after application. The fragrance doesn't bother me though! ๐ฃ Overall: I was excited for this product because of the 'sensitive skin soothing' claim, as my skin has already flipped. But for my oily skin, it feels too heavy and greasy, not absorbing well and just sitting on top of my skin. It does help a bit with the dehydration, but my already flipped skin has become even worse, with the blemishes and acne spreading further and getting more inflamed... ๐ญ Definitely not recommended for oily skin! It might work better for dry skin types with the rich, oily texture.
Cons- Heavy, thick texture - Excessive oiliness - Pore-clogging ingredients - Moisturizes instead of soothing..?
TipI'm so disappointed ๐ But I think this could work well for dry skin types!

The skin feels smooth and not dry! It's not completely 100% non-drying, but it seems to be less drying than my usual skin condition~ 2. I personally like the fragrance! It has a slight orange-like ointment scent? I'm not very sensitive to fragrances, but it's nice to have a pleasant scent when applying it. I liked the fragrance. 3. The moisture and moisturizing power are decent! It doesn't have a "bouncy" moisture feeling, but it still provides a certain amount of moisture. And the moisture is moisture, but I think the moisturizing power is even better. In my case! When I first apply it, there's a moisture feeling, then it finishes with moisturizing power, and the moisturizing power is maintained. Better moisturizing power than a lotion!
Cons1. The ingredients did not agree with me. I am sensitive to sebum, and it seems the citric acid and stearic acid ingredients did not agree with me. Whether I applied it sparingly, in a thin layer twice, or just once, I ended up with small acne bumps the next morning, likely due to clogged pores. 2. The oiliness is incredible... It does not apply lightly when I put it on, and the same heavy feeling remains over time. It's not that it feels heavy, per se, but the oil just keeps building up. It's like I'm hydrating, but really just getting an oil overload. The moisture isn't completely absent, but I felt the oil was just too much for me. 3. The finishing feeling after use As I mentioned in 2, it applies heavily and even after applying, my hands feel slick and stuffy. That's why I always wipe my hands with a towel after using it.
TipRepurchase intention: 1.9 out of 5 points. The ingredients and volume-to-price ratio were so-so, but I think the bigger issue was that it just didn't suit my skin type. As a combination/sensitive skin type, I've been looking for a cream that has good moisture and soothing properties. I tried this as a good opportunity, but it really didn't agree with my skin personally. I feel a bit disappointed... This was my first Hwahae Trial Reviewer experience. I'm still searching for a cream that will work for me (currently using the Nomal No More Blue Therapy Anti-Redness Cream, which is decent). If you have dry skin, I think this cream would be great for you. I used it for about 6-7 days, but the oiliness and breakouts that came up made me feel quite uncomfortable, so I stopped after around a week. I have absolutely no intention to repurchase, and once I finish my current cream, I plan to try the Dr.G Red Blemish one. Please refer to my review if you're considering buying this. :)
