ConsUnfortunately, the pore-clogging ingredients completely blocked my pores. The next morning seemed fine, so I used it again. But that evening, disaster struck! My face erupted in a mix between whiteheads and tiny bumps, covering my entire face. It's really serious! If you're someone whose skin tends to act up when you're tired, you'll likely find that pore-clogging ingredients don't agree with you. I'd strongly advise against using this.

The T-zone is slightly oily, with oil surfacing over time. Currently struggling with pustular acne on both cheeks for a week. Application: It's a very rich cream. When applied, it initially appears white like Neutrogena hand cream, but absorbs well. Although it feels quite rich, it provides definite hydration.
ConsI think this might not have suited my skin. I was a bit worried it might clog my pores before using it, and sure enough... The first day seemed fine with good hydration, but from the next morning, I started noticing small bumps. Fearing it might spread into more blemishes, I immediately stopped using it. While the hydration was good, it just doesn't seem to agree with my skin!

As we're entering the changing seasons, my skin has completely flipped, covered in small bumps and inflamed blemishes, causing me a lot of stress. So I was excited to try this product! However, I was worried about some ingredients that might not suit my oily skin. ✔ Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin / Seasonally reactive skin / Super sensitive / Acne-prone / Usually tolerates most skincare well / T-zone becomes an oil slick within minutes, even with basic products ✔ Texture: True to its 'barrier cream' name, it feels quite rich and might be too heavy for oily skin. Absorbs slowly and feels a bit suffocating when applied. The scent isn't particularly noticeable! 🗣 Overall: With my skin already in distress, I was hopeful about the #SensitiveSkinCalming claim. However, as someone with oily skin, I found it too heavy and rich, not absorbing well and just sitting on top of my skin. It does help a bit with deep dryness. Unfortunately, it made my already troubled skin even worse... The small bumps spread and the inflamed spots got bigger. Not recommended at all for oily skin!!! Might be good for dry skin types due to its richness.
Cons- Heavy texture - Excessive oiliness - Pore-clogging ingredients - More like oil treatment than soothing care...?
TipI'm really disappointed! But it might work well for those with dry skin!

Skin feels smooth and not dry! While it's not 100% moisturizing, my skin definitely felt less dry than usual. 2. Personally, I love the scent! It has a slight orange-medicinal fragrance? I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, but it's always nice when a product smells good while applying. I found this scent quite pleasant. 3. Decent hydration and moisturizing power! While it doesn't feel like it's bursting with hydration, it does seem to lock in moisture to some extent. In my opinion, its moisturizing ability is even more impressive than its hydrating properties. When I first apply it, I feel the hydration, which then transitions into lasting moisturization. It feels more moisturizing than an emulsion!
Cons1. The ingredients didn't agree with my skin. I have combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, and I think the citric acid didn't suit me. Also, because it contains stearic acid, whether I applied it moderately, thinly twice, or just once, I always woke up the next morning with small whiteheads - possibly due to clogged pores. 2. The oiliness is off the charts... It doesn't apply lightly, and this feeling doesn't change over time. It never feels light; instead, it feels heavy, and the oiliness increases as time passes. It's like I tried to replenish moisture but ended up with an oil overload. That's not to say there's no hydration at all, but in my experience, it just produced too much oil. 3. The after-feel As I mentioned earlier, it applies heavily, and after application, my hands feel slippery and my face feels stuffy. I always had to wipe my hands with a towel after applying.
TipRepurchase intention: 1.9 out of 5. The ingredients, quantity, and price are okay, but it just didn't work for my skin. With my combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, I've been looking for a cream that's hydrating and soothing. I was excited to try this, but personally, it really didn't suit my skin. It's disappointing... This was my first review as part of The Hwahae Testers... I'm still searching for my holy grail cream (currently using Normal No More Blue Therapy Anti-Redness Cream, which is decent). I think this would be perfect for those with dry skin rather than combination or oily skin. Oh! I used it for about 6-7 days. I wanted to use it longer, but the oiliness and blemishes made me feel so bad that I stopped after about a week. I definitely won't repurchase, and once I finish my current cream, I'm planning to try the Dr.G Red Blemish one. I hope my review helps you make an informed purchase decision.
