I've been living as a mascara nomad, trying everything from drugstore to department store brands... But after trying samples for a few days and realizing 'this is it', I ended up purchasing the full-size Chanel product at the Chanel store in the morning. It volumizes so beautifully that I couldn't tell if it was going up or not, and I watched it for a few days. In the mornings when I applied it and in the evenings when I looked in the mirror after work, there was not a single smudge or droop. And when it's time to remove it, the water-based formula wipes off completely. Although the price point is a bit higher, I think I can settle with this one.
Cons
Compared to most mascaras, the price point is on the higher end. But since it's the entry price for Chanel, considering the brand name, curling power, longevity, and volume, I can still highly recommend it.
