  Pros

  I'm not sure what was good about it. I use it on my neck because I don't want to waste it, and there's a slight hydration. However, the moisturizing effect doesn't last long.

  Cons

  I bought this from a home shopping channel, but I shouldn't have just listened to the host. It leaves a white cast and doesn't absorb well. It also pills on the skin. I've been getting blemishes on my face. Even though I bought it a year ago, I'm only using it on my neck now because I don't want to waste it. I can't really tell if there's any brightening effect either.

  Pros

  It's fantastic for quickly brightening up a dull complexion when I'm in a rush to go out!

  Cons

  On the home shopping channel, they said it was a skincare product you could apply before bed... but I don't think that's a good idea. It's a bit disappointing, especially since I have a baby and there's a lot of skin-to-skin contact.

  Pros

  When I go out after applying this, people compliment my skin. It gives my complexion a natural, dewy glow that looks like I have radiant, luminous skin!

  Cons

  If you don't control the amount well, it can cause pilling. Using it alone as a cream might feel dry or tight. It can also sting the eyes.

  Tip

  Apply in this order: toner - essence - eye cream - *mix of hydrating cream and Laneige cream*. The mixing step is crucial!

  The best part is that it instantly brightens your skin, and the amount you get seems quite generous.

  Cons

  It's impossible to use with sunscreen. If you apply sunscreen first and then this brightening moisturizer, it clumps up. If you apply this first and then sunscreen, it tends to build up around the sides of your nose.
