I'm not sure how to describe it, but the scent just didn't work for me. Also, when you dissolve the salt, it turns the water blue, so be careful not to splash it on your clothes or towels.

I usually use bath salts to add fragrance, but this one had a very subtle lavender scent. Instead, there was a stronger plant-like aroma that I couldn't quite identify. I didn't really notice much skin hydration though.
