Finish It's an excellent powder that doesn't diminish the foundation's finish. If your foundation has a beautiful dewy look, this powder won't flatten your complexion like others might! Color Being tinted, it doesn't leave a white cast often seen with white powders. Plus, it comes in various shades, making it suitable for people of color without causing a white cast. Consistency A finely milled and weightless powder. Longevity Significantly extends foundation wear, requiring minimal touch-ups. While not the best at oil control, it prevents excessive oiliness and slows down makeup breakdown nicely. Non-drying Unlike many silica-based powders, it's not drying. It doesn't accentuate dry patches, making it safe for dry skin. Irritation No irritation or blemishes! Just remember to use a clean brush! Blurring It does blur pores on the cheeks, but don't expect significant blurring from a powder. Puff Many Western brands don't provide a puff, so I'm pleased they included one with its own compartment, like a cushion foundation! It's great for on-the-go touch-ups and quick application. However, applying powder with a brush is much better. Ingredients Free from harsh preservatives like phenoxyethanol and talc! Great ingredients overall. Animal testing Milk Makeup is cruelty-free.
ConsMay be insufficient for oily skin As this powder isn't mattifying, those with oily skin might need to blot frequently. Perhaps it's more suitable for oily skin during winter? Portability The packaging is large and bulky. It's better to carry a small pressed powder compact for touch-ups. Brightness For those who need to bake or brighten the under-eye area, this color is nearly transparent, so it won't do much in that regard. Not ideal for under eyes My under-eye area is extremely textured and looks unflattering with most under-eye powders. Unfortunately, this one doesn't perform well on my under eyes either!
TipThe protective mesh can be a bit annoying, but it helps with product control. With the lid on, flip the powder upside down and shake it a few times for the perfect amount! Also, like any other powder, applying too much will make your skin look cakey!
